Home sweet home (Two weeks later)

Two weeks have passed and you're all set to go back home. It wasn't actually two weeks, it was twelve days when the man called you back. He didn't actually call, he knocked on your hotel door and told you that everything went smoothly, and that your brand new AI, as well as everything that comes with it, is installed and functional.

The taxi arrives and with a decent trip from the hotel, you finally arrive at your home which, to your surprise, looks almost exactly as it did. You do notice a few thicker parts of the exterior walls, probably storage space for certain mechanisms as stated in the service details. Your car is parked in your driveway, also fitted with mechanisms for your new AI, but you don't see any noticeable change to it, other than a fresh paint job and cleaned spotless.

The car stops and you gather your bags to settle back into your cozy home. As you're walking up to the door, a light above the doorbell blinks and a screen lights up on the wall mounted panel. It briefly flashes the name 'Virdul' before it shows information about the home; interior temperature, energy usage, state of cleanliness, as well as whether you're home or not. Right now, it says that you've just arrived.

"Welcome home, master." A mature female voice emanated from the panel. It was warm, a good choice to have in your home.

The door unlocked and, seeing that your hands are full with your luggage, it is pushed open by an actuator at the top. The living room is furnished as it was before, but now it has panels outlined in the walls and ceiling where robotic limbs would protrude to perform various tasks. The kitchen is the same way, and you assume it would be like this throughout the rest of the house. Everything was cleaned thoroughly as if the house were brand new, and many appliances looked new so they could be operated by the AI.

Suddenly, you hear a whirring sound from the ceiling and a rail drops down with an arm which held out to you.

"Hand me your belongings and I'll unpack them for you." Virdul says from a different speaker this time as she sounds louder and more clear, and you can't tell where her voice came from. It's almost as if the house itself was speaking, which you're sure was their aim with it. You hand your bags to the robotic hand and it zips along with rail towards your room. Meanwhile your chair reclines and the TV turns on.

"Come, relax! Watch some television and I'll take care of everything for you. Would you like some coffee? I know it's been a while since you've been home, so you should take this time to settle in." Her voice is sweet, and with these interior speakers, she sounds so silky smooth.

"Hm, sure." You respond, and just like that, sounds from the kitchen indicate that she started making coffee for you. Some panels opened up by the door as more arms reached out to take your coat and remove your shoes. You smile, feeling like you could get used to this, and sit down on the recliner to watch some TV. You request your favourite channel and immediately, Virdul put it on. It wasn't long before your coffee arrived via ceiling rail and you begin to relax. This is nice, you think, and enjoy the TV as Virdul unpacked your bags.

Soon, Virdul begins to speak again.
