Hitting the Big Time

Lucy entered the living room to find the glitches already in a jubilant mood. Finally, everyone was back together again - albeit Sophie was the size of a doll and, for some reason, Maggie was a tiger girl. It was time to make her announcement. It wasn't often Lucy got nervous, but her heart was racing here. Of course, under any normal circumstances this would be amazing news, but she couldn't help but feel she was about to add yet another layer of chaos onto all of the craziness that was already happening.

"Okay guys, gather up anyone who isn't here and meet me in the bar in ten minutes. I have an important announcement to make!" Lucy called out over the excited chatter.

"Trust me, you are not going to want to miss this one!" Leilani promised.

It took some time for Lucy to calm everyone down after she had explained the headlines from the TV deal to the group. Many of the glitches were hugging each other, some were crying with joy, Tina was shouting for the champagne to be poured. This felt like an incredible reward for enduring all the tough times they had been through, and indeed would still be going through, together. The only glitch who didn't seem that visibly enthused by the deal was Melanie.

Only two glitches raised any objections to the return of Tania - Lexie, because she hated her, and Chantelle for more pragmatic reasons. The feed had been cut for an hour so the glitches could discuss the deal they had been offered candidly.

"You do realise once we bring Tania back it's war with Rebecca, TV deal or not" she cautioned" I'm not saying we don't do it, but the more we can delay it the better"

"Can't Noelle just be Tania?" Anna wondered.

"That might work for a few days, but we will all need to be here to sign the contract and Noelle and Tania will both have to be on screen together eventually" Lucy answered.

"Yeah, and I can't use all my magical charge shifting in and out of Tania, no matter how much I love her sexy body" the witch added as she gave herself a playful pat on the butt.

"If it can buy us a few days, that hopefully gives us enough time to find a way to shut off Rebecca's powers for a little while. That can give us a head start when the shit hits the fan" Cassie explained.

"Then it's decided, we rescue Tania in a few days time and the deal goes ahead" Tina concluded "Now where is the champagne at already?"

"Wait, just a second" Lucy held out her hand "Before I go back and commit us all to this, there are a couple of other things I need to explain to you..."
