History

Today, as many days before, the first class you have is history. Of the many subjects that are thought to you at school, this is one that bring a kind of excitement out of you. There are other subjects as well, however, none can match the joy you have for the matter. To learn abouth the past is something you have had for a long time. Especially in how the tables "turned" as the centuries advanced; before, the giants were gods to your kind, with absolute power over the lives of the liliputians, and to a lesser extent the gulliverians in relation to the brobdignags. Now, a few of they could said that they are "****" to view the smaller ones as equals. Such is the power of technology.

However, pure sheer power shifting is not the only reason why History is such a passionate topic for you: it is the evidence and proof that all can coexist. The "****" equality made interracial relations posible. It allowed you and you family to exist. You love you mother, and you sister (despite the constant teasing), and you could not have them if not thanks to how the world's history came to be.

Thirdly, is the teacher that teaches you all: Mr. Stuart is a caring yet stern mentor. And despite being a liliputian, his sheer personality and bravado makes quite the effort for even the colossus that are the brobdignags to not obey when he commands their attention. Not only that; he has never flinched once. Such a bravery, combine with his ability as a teacher, makes it that to you, he is kind of a role model; what you dream of being.

Who knows: perhaps you could become like him.

-"Well class, listen up. As I have been saying the last few classes, you are going to prepare a presentation about a certain topic. To this end, I recomend to go to the library, where you can start the research for the info you are going to need. Later, I shall send a rubric detailing the things I shall check."-

A presentation: that is going to be something. Knowing the ways that Mr. Stuart is, is not going to be simple. Yet, you are going to be ready. You have already show up your work, and are prepare for anything.

-"However, as a side note: I recomend you work in groups for this, for an extra challenge. And I shall reward extra to those groups that can present, well, as a group. Especially if they are of mixed size the partners. The conditions are this: two to three if mixed, four to five if not. I shall give you a couple minutes to organice."-

Dammit. That is the one thing that you were not prepare for. And even if the grouping is conditional in theory, in practice is mandatory: Mr. Stuart is very strict, and all have experienced that working together is the best option for the highest grade. Is not imposible to work alone, yet with the scale of the presentation the teacher has presented you all in the last few days, it will be hard for a lone "wolf" to do it. Even for such a "nerd" as you.

You aproach to your friends, preparing to join them. Going the group of same size is the middle point between being alone, and being with one of the giants.

However, Ralph, one of you best pals, when he sees you, says:

-"Sorry Jonas, but were are full already. Cris accepted all wich came first."-

Darn, that is bad. You might be **** to work with other liliputians. Well, at the very least they will be of you size.

Yet, as you go from group to group, all lilitputians more or less stay with themselves, and they are in full groups. You look up, and it appears that such a trend is also ocurring with the giants. In the end, all that remain groupless, shall either work alone, or with a smaller/bigger companion(s). Great.

Some mixed groups are already done: a few appears to be in good mood. Other, less so.

Then, a trembling starts to get close to you. You already know that one giant is aproaching you from behind. You turn around and see the individual in question.
