It strikes you that the brown "pen" is a piece of poor design. One zap with it has masked your real self with Dawn's perfectly so you can impersonate her indefinitely, yet just one more zap would trap you this way (though providing a suit of that loser guy you used to be, that you could pull out of one of your orifices)? Too prone to happen by accident.

You're so tempted to zap yourself again and be Dawn for life. With your real personality in control you'd be a great girl, not the bitch you've been. But there's no hurry and you decide to spend a week as Dawn before you do anything permanent. You hide the box with the zappy pens -- my, the Dawn self is rubbing off on you if you think of them that way -- admire your lovely self in the mirror briefly, and leave, heading for the costume shop. _Though I'm already wearing the ultimate costume, me! _you think, and giggle.
