Hero: Miss Americana

Born of World War II and the mysterious Olympus Project in Dream City, Miss Americana (Real name: Dolores Rosenfield) was a strong-willed, Nazi-punching, all-American symbol and icon for the tireless women who worked hard to keep the American war machine going while the men were off at war (some of whom kept pin-ups of her)

_With her sidekick, Sunny, she valiantly fought against the forces of Baroness Gretchen von S_händlich, or the notorious "Half-Face", and her army of robots and monsters, as a member of the "Vanguard of Nations", a team that included some of the great superheroes of the Allied forces. Her battles with Shändlich would see her beaten, whipped, bound, and carassed by the Baroness, but always succeeded.

However, one faithful day in 1945, she was once again bond and gagged by the Baroness right there in Dream City, who intended to make one final play by releasing an experimental chemical to cause the citizens to become too "incapacitated" to make the last push to end the war (hoping to release it on the front to stop the American and Soviet soldiers).

As Shändlich was about to kill her, however, she managed break free. Despite only wearing her torn-up underwear, she managed to battle Half-Face in a blow-out, ripping off the Baroness clothes, and driving her into a stasis pod, along with Miss Americana herself. The building collapsed, leaving Sunny and the rest of the world to think she had valiantly sacrificed her life in service to her country.

That is, until 1964, when the Sentinels of Justice, the premier team of Dream City dug up the two stasis pads from the ruins of the building, discovering the two enemies, still half-naked, still fighting.....
