Her mom drives her there

Sabrina’s mom offers to drive her to school today. She usually walks, but decides against it today, as she’s feeling awfully lazy.

“Sorry about earlier,” says Sabrina.

“It’s fine, sweetie,” her mom says with a smile. “You have a beautiful body, Sabrina. There is no need to be ashamed of it. Rather, you should be proud of it.”

Sabrina blushes! The last thing a teenage girl like herself wants to hear from her mother is how “beautiful” her body is.

“Oh stop Mom! You’re embarrassing me again!”

Her mom laughs. “Oh, Sabrina! It’s not a bad thing! You get that from me anyway.”

“Moooom!”

“Okay, okay sweetie, I’ll stop!”

“Thank you!” Sabrina grunts. She places her head on the window and stares outside.

“So, are you excited that you only have three months left of your senior year?”

“Kinda, I guess,” groans Sabrina. This question again...

“Kinda? Sabrina, you’re almost done with high school! You should be very excited!”

She sighs. “Yeah, I know. I guess I am pretty excited.”

“That’s more like it!”

After what feels like an eternity, Sabrina and her mother arrive at North Lake High.

“Here we are, Sabrina! Have a good day!”

“Thanks Mom. You too,” she says, exiting the car. Time for a new day!
