Her ex and his new girl

Krysten's success had been built around being easy to work with. She was always on time, always nice to the crew, never complained to the director, never started drama with the cast and always made it so that people wanted her back. There had only ever been one project where she had got tangled up in any drama, and that had been a little play she had done off off broadway decades ago, before her big break. She'd been dating the lead actor, a dim but handsome beefcake called Jonah, but he had cheated on her with the leading lady, a busty bombshell from mexico called Juanita, and then publically dumped her on the set. Krysten had left the play, humiliated, and never seen either of them again.

As her career had gone fron strength to strength and she'd settled down and had a kid, she'd barely given the pair of them any thought, though she'd been gratified to learn that, while they were still together, their reputation for drama had meant their own careers had stalled. At least up until now.

Apparently they were both about to get theie big break, in major roles in Krysten's own sitcom. No wonder David hadn't told her who the other cast were. This had to be deliberate didn't it? Method acting, a way to make sure she felt as embarrassed as Kirsty would. It was insulting, as if she couldn't be relied on as a normal actor and part of her was tempted to walk. But she'd made an agreement, she wanted this project to work and she'd always prided herself on not rocking the boat. So she smiled despite everything and didn't say a thing, just hoping that they'd probably also know this was their last chance and so play nice too.

"Krysten, darling", the smirking Juanita said to her, as soon as noone could overhear her. "I was so sorry to hear about things not working out with your baby daddy, hopefully you're not too broken up about it"

"It was entirely mutual," Krysten parrotted the media line through gritted teeth.

"Of course, of course. Onwards and upwards, eh dear. I was so glad to be able to work with you again, after that horrible misunderstanding last time," Juanita smirked and leant back, thrusting her already bountiful chest even further forward. "And such great roles for us both. I was just saying to David earlier, I think its the roles we were born to play."

'You nasty little bitch,' Krysten thought. God, this shoot was going to be a nightmare. What was the first scene they were shooting again, one of the big comedy set pieces with Kirsty and Janine wasn't it?

Oh, god, she remembered exactly what scene that was now. This would be rough.
