Her First Job

She woke the next morning to an empty bed. It was light out, and she stirred, looking around the room for signs of Lexo, but he wasn’t there.

She scanned the floor for her clothes, but couldn’t see them anywhere. Had Lexo taken them to play a prank on her? Her cheeks flushed hot at the thought of being naked in front of all the men again.

Then her eyes fixed on the shelf on the wall. There was an over-bust corset, and her skirt folded beside it, her boots on the floor below.

She got out of bed and walked over to it, her hood and shirt were nowhere to be seen. It seemed she had **** but to wear the corset. She'd have **** but to let people see her face. Hopefully nobody would recognise her.

She fastened the corset around herself, tightening the laces at her front. It covered her breasts, but not enough, there was plenty of cleavage on show, way too much for anyone taller than her who might have wanted to look down. They'd see her nipples.

She dressed fully-as fully as she could anyway-then headed downstairs.

Reynaldo looked her up and down, licking his lips. He was seated at least, though he was much taller than her. No doubt he'd get a good look down her corset later.

“Where’s Lexo?” Samia asked.

“He’s out, preparing for tonight’s job.”

Reynaldo winked suggestively, and Samia shivered despite herself. He was undeniably attractive, and she couldn't deny that she enjoyed the attention. But her thoughts were elsewhere. She had to prove herself as a thief, in order to convince the group about the job she had planned back in Octoton.

"What's the job?" she asked, changing the subject.

"We're going after something very valuable; it belongs to one of the wealthiest men in the city, Lord Barrington" Reynaldo explained, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "He's amassed quite a fortune, and we plan to take it from him."

Samia nodded, her mind racing with the possibilities. This could be the perfect opportunity to prove herself as a Shadow Blade.

Over the next few hours, Reynaldo briefed Samia on the details of the job, and she listened intently, taking in every word. He showed her a detailed map of the Barrington mansion.
