Her Father

Nihel stood there frozen in shock, staring at the massive beast. She had heard many stories about these mystical beasts. People who suffered from a curse during the full moon that turned them into slavering, giant wolves. Incredibly strong and tough, with a regeneration that made them almost immortal. Only silver and wolfbane herb could really harm them, but where should she get one of these two things now? The wolf slowly raised its claw and looked down at her with bloodshot eyes. Nihel had never been a coward, but something about the nature of this monster made her become frozen. It was as if there was a spell on her. Unable to move, she stared at the claw in panic. Then it hurtled down....

Nihel saw it as if in slow motion... the claw, with its razor-sharp claws....

Aiming directly at her face....

Then a flash of something silvery....

The claw flew over her in a high arc and an empty stump whizzed millimeters past her face. Where the claw had just been, she could now see severed skin and bone. So clean, so fast that it didn't even bleed. Even the werewolf seemed surprised that he had missed his victim before he noticed the searing pain in his paw.

He reared up angrily, to full height, and roared into the darkness. The scream was so terrible that the spell on Nihel was broken. Quick-witted, she rolled backwards, drawing her bow with her left hand and shooting an arrow with her right. Faster than most people, thanks to her elven blood, she crouched there and had already let the first arrow whiz off the string, hitting the huge beast right in the heart, but the wolf literally ignored her. She followed his gaze and saw a man standing there at the sight of whom she froze again.

He was about 190 tall, was very well-built judging from the posture and stature. In his right hand he had a walking stick on which he leaned, looking slightly amused. At the end of the stick was a silver wolf's head. He wore the very finest robes, a suit of black silk that only made the man's impossibly well-built body appear more noble and handsome. The white frilly shirt was half open, allowing a view of a broad, strong chest. His hands were in the finest leather gloves and his belt lacked any sort of weapon. But all that was not what made Nihel stand transfixed.

The face.

Even an angel, no a god, could never have been so beautiful. The eyes shimmered a light red, similar to hers, the face was finely and aristocratically cut, of a perfection even poets could never have described. The long black hair lay over his head like a cape. All this was outshone only by the fact that he was standing on a rock with a single ray of moonlight on it.

"Well wonderful, Nihel." she said to herself. "Now you've finally gone crazy!"

It was so absolutely surreal that she had almost forgotten about the werewolf. The 2nd arrow she had already cocked, she simply let go of the man in admiration. It whirred at least 3 meters past the wolf, but Nihel didn't even notice. She was literally drowning in the look of this man, who was looking at the wolf with his beautiful eyes before he looked at her.

"Nihel. I hope that nasty thing didn't hurt you, did it?" he asked, and Nihel's knees went soft at the voice. That voice was pure eroticism. It was as if his words were running along her spine through her whole body and a pleasant shiver covered her skin. Unable to say anything, she just shook her head. This beautiful moment was interrupted by the snarling of the wolf that jumped towards the man. The right claw had already grown back and like a mountain of flesh and muscle, this monster flew towards her rescuer. Hastily she pulled up the bow, she had to protect this man, until she realized that there was no arrow left on the string. Panic-stricken, she watched as the man stood there waiting for his safe end.

Then, swinging his walking stick like a sword, he rammed the wolf's silver head into the wolf's side like a morning star. The wolf roared in pain as its body was deformed in impossible ways. Bones cracked, sinews tore and muscles were torn to shreds as the wolf smashed through several trees. Only after the 4 trees remained the creature was apparently dead.

Nihel, on the other hand, now stared from the wolf to the man and back again in complete disbelief. How could a simple man beat such a beast so effortlessly over 30 meters through several trees? How was that possible.

"NIHEL!" she suddenly heard her mother's voice and looked in the direction from which her mother had come running. She immediately threw herself on her daughter and hugged her wildly.

"What are you doing out here! Didn't you know that a werewolf had been sighted?" her mother scolded her angrily and relieved at the same time, but Nihel only shook her head distraught.

"Is she all, right?" she heard the man who had approached her speak. He stood a little beside her and her mother and looked down at them with a smile.

"Thank you so much for saving her!" smiled Imariel, hugging Nihel anxiously and motherly.

"Mom... Who...?" asked Nihel still totally confused.

"Oh honey.... that you would meet him like this is not what I had wished for." Imariel smiled, pulling her lightly to her feet. "Let me introduce you. Your father. Balthasar Demonica."

"Father?" laughed Nihel before she blacked out and fell over.

When Nihel regained consciousness, she was lying in her bed and saw her mother sitting on the edge of the bed. She jumped up and looked around.

"Mother! Where did the werewolf go?" she asked fearfully but Imariel gently put her hand on her forehead.

"It's all right darling. It's all right now. The wolf is dead...: Your father...

"PAPA!" cried Nihel, jumping out of bed and running to the door. Her mother's house was not very big, 2 floors and 10 rooms, but Nihel ran straight to the living room as she was expecting him there.

She hopped down the stairs and saw him already standing at the bottom. He must have heard her call and just got up from the sofa and turned to her. Apparently, he was nervous because he cleared his throat embarrassedly, but for Nihel none of that mattered. She jumped over the sofa and just jumped on him. Surprised, he opened his arms and took his daughter, who was overjoyed, in his arms. She wrapped her arms around the man she had never seen before, but whom she loved more than anything. She had never been angry with him for not being there, she was just glad that he was there now, here and now, for his daughter.

Her big bouncing breasts pressed tightly against him and she could clearly feel his steady breaths. He had placed a hand on the back of her head and was gently pressing her against his chest. Nihel noticed that he smelled as good as he looked, but all those thoughts were far away. She started crying loudly and he just stood there holding her before finally saying.

"I'm sorry I haven't been here for you in so long daughter, but now I'm here and I'm going to be here for you!"

"Daddy!" she breathed and then pulled away from him and stared at him. Here in the light of the candles he looked even better. She looked closely at his face and put a finger on his cheek. "You're really here?"

"Yes, my child. I am here at last. For 30 years I had to stay away from you, but now you are grown up." Smiled he and put his hands on her shoulders. "You have grown into a beautiful young woman my child."

"As if you haven't been keeping an eye on her the whole time!" smiled Imariel slowly coming down the stairs.

"Have you really, Papa?" asked Nihel curiously, and he smiled.

"Well. I was always around watching over you." Said Balthazar and saw Nihel looking at him questioningly. "Surely you want to know why I haven't visited you for 30 years mh?"

Before he could answer the door of the house opened and a tall elf entered. He wore a long, loose robe of elven silk. His long golden hair fell down his back in a complicated knot. For an elf, he looked a bit older, perhaps around 40, but his features seemed much more handsome because of it. They didn't have that youthful air, but seemed more mature and statelier. Nihel's eyes almost fell out of his head when he saw the elf. Her father may have been more handsome than this elf, but he was her father after all. However, this elf looked adorable.

"Feris!" beamed Imariel, running up to hug and kiss him. "I'm glad you're here."

"Uh... Mom?" asked Nihel, puzzled, looking to her father for what appeared to be a smirk.

"This is Feris, High King of the Elves." Smiled her father at her and Nihel raised an eyebrow in amazement.

" MOM!?" she asked incredulously. How could it be that her mother knew the king of the elves? And why was he here? And why was her father so calm that her mother was kissing another man. But then she was struck by the implications of her own eyes. "The two men.... That... was you!?" she asked in amazement, and Imariel now raised a brow in her turn.

"How do YOU know about their visits?"

"I don't know how it was with him, but I'd say she definitely heard us!" grinned Balthazar and Imariel turned bright red.

"Balthazar!"

"What?" he grinned cheekily. "You were never particularly quiet when I visited!"

"True." Grinned Nihel cheekily, and Feris laughed in amusement.

"It seems she has her father's crude sense of humor." Smiled the elf king and walked over to Nihel. "Greetings young Nihel. I am Feris. It is a pleasure to meet you."

"I suppose you'll soon explain why my mama is sleeping with the Elf King, won't you?" she asked with a grin, looking from one to the other.

The three just looked at each other in amusement and then both men looked to their mother who sighed.

" I knew I would have to explain this now, didn't I?"
