Chapter 2 by TVWintergreen TVWintergreen

What's next?

Help the Cowgirls

You were squeezed between two formerly small women. They had only increased in size in multiple ways since the trip began. For one, their hips had widened to squish you right between them tightly with no room to move. You could not help but notice as well that their breasts were rapidly becoming an uncomfortable size and weight, to the extent that the girls unconsciously attempted to lean forward and rest them at various points during the trip; the would frown and hold them when the cart became bumpy. You would be lying if you tried to claim it was a wholly awkward position to be in. The two women were growing into something you could liken to perfect porn stars back home. Their horns had even fully rooted in their skull with the skin blending more naturally and less angrily. The trouble really began later.

“Please-” You held one at bay which only empowered the other to lean in and kiss her cheek and hug her close.

“P-please stop!” As you attempted to hold the other at bay, the Cow started sucking sensually on your dainty fingers. She produced a lot of saliva.

“Don't suck that! Help! Layla?”

“You wanted this...” The girl scolded harshly.

“Why are they- Why are they trying to-” You held your breath as the one you held back finally overcame you and smothered you with her huge breasts. It was not awful, but not what you wanted at that moment.

“They're incredibly aroused... Their brains literally do not work. They're big balls of hormones and instincts so they're just latching on to the first warm, moving thing they can find since there aren't any men around. I'm pretty sure the more you squirm the more they want to be with you...”

“Help?” You reached out.

“Are you weak? Have you lost your inner strength?”

“My-” You paused. Slowly the concept came back. Something you should be able to do is improve your strength with Aura to overpower the girls.

'Can I actually just... 'Do' magic that easily? Is this something this body can do?' You concentrated on the actions that came to mind in regards to what you were trying to do. It involved moving Aura around your body. Not only did your body have Aura, but when you concentrated on it, you could feel it, too.

“St-stop!” You struggled, but managed to push the two Cowgirls off of her. You then gripped their horns and held them at bay a bit more easily.

“There!” Looking over at one, the bigger girl stared at you cutely and innocently and let out a short moo. You blushed. It was not just that she was beautiful, with her puffed up lips and wide clueless eyes and perfect pale skin. She was something 'other.' She was a creature now, and it was because of something alien that she did not understand. She wanted to understand it. She thought about the remaining masks that Lyla collected and discarded in the back to get them out of circulation. According to her, the horns could not be destroyed or even cut or broken unless attached to a host, so masks and horns would theoretically last forever until they found one. It was common practice to take them back and lock them up.

Lyla side eyed you. “Are you weak? It took that much strength and concentration to overpower a Cow that isn't even fully developed?”

“I felt pretty strong there.” You pouted. Lyla continued to look back sadly for a moment, then returned her attention to the road.

'What was that?' You wondered.

“Where're we going?”

“Do you remember the mountain range? Our home?”

“Y... es.” You had to strain to know, but what came to mind was a range of tall, steep mountains with temples atop them, and forest taking up the entirety of the ground below. There was a long silence where Layla did not say anything.

“Uhm... Layla?” You touched her shoulder gently.

“What?” When the girl turned back her face was red and her eyes were puffy.

“Are you crying.”

“No!” She insisted. The girl took a heavy breath.

“I wish... I just wish you were completely different. If it was like you were a different person it wouldn't hurt as much but some of you is still there... That damn Primal took so much from you and just dropped you back with us? It's sick... I hate her.” Layla stopped and just breathed in and out.

“You didn't give in, though, right?”

“I'm sorry, I just don't remember...” You offered honestly.

“I don't remember giving anyone anything.”

“Eve- No... You wouldn't have given in.” She gathered her thoughts and emotions and easily added.

“But I swear, if you're Scriven I'll kill you myself.”

You leaned back and gulped. “I hope I'm not... What even is that?”

“Scriven are people that have made deals with Synra'Thos. It's not good... Everything you are, everything you've done and everything you remember is jotted down and placed in her library. The text is 'you' and she has full control of the text, so anything can be changed about who you are at any moment and you would never even know. Even what you are right now could just be a ploy... So we need to get you to the Ascended Great Master. She can tell.”

You felt relieved, and then a nervous thought crossed your mind; you stated it out loud.“Wait wait... Wait a minute. I don't know if I'm Scriven. I don't remember anything, but if I was, it's possible I wouldn't remember so what happens to me if we get there and she finds that I am.” The girl remained silent.

“Lyla?”

“It's okay. It's going to be okay. Just relax and don't think about it too much, Eve. You said you are not. Just believe that and everything will be fine.” As Lyla said that, Eve could sense that something was off. It was definitely a lie and there was definitely something remaining unsaid about what would happen to her if she was in fact Scriven.

“Lyla? I'm scared.” You really were. Suddenly everything felt so uncertain. There was a possibility you could have your time in this world ended for something you did not remember, instantly.

The girl muttered bitterly. “So help me, if you are doing this on purpose.”

“What?”

“Never mind. Because of the 'cargo' we picked up we will need to stop before we reach the mountain range.

-

The Cows were set up in the stables. You questioned the arrangement but Lyla promised the would probably be happier standing, given what would happen to them over night.

“Plus, they'll be able to lean their tits on something the whole night. Can't imagine they're comfortable carrying that weight around.”

You nodded. “Wait... It's going to happen over night?”

“Probably... I'm not the expert on this stuff. That was...” She stopped herself.

“Anyway, just ask what you're going to ask.” Lyla stared at you expectantly.

“Can I...” You were not sure what she meant, but you were a bit self conscious about saying something out of character. All you could do was say what you wanted.

“Can I stay the night and watch them in the stable?”

Lyla exhaled through her nose and nodded subtly. “Yeah. No problem. I was only going to get us one room, anyway. If you want to come back in at any point feel free.”

“Thanks.” You were left uncertain as to whether you answered correctly at night, but regardless you did not want to miss the opportunity to watch what was going to happen. You both separated.

Just as Lyla suggested, the two Cows were pretty happy leaning over the side with their breasts resting on the low wall. They seemed quite happy like that, but they needed to stand on their toes to do so. It was not a bad view, to see the girls from behind. You watched them carefully. It seemed like nothing was going to happen and the girls for the most part just looked like they were sleeping while leaning on the wall, but eventually your eye caught their plump rears wagging back and forth. Slowly, as they continued to sleep a holstein pattern tail emerged from their tailbone and began whipping back and forth independently.

'So fast...' You thought that was fast, but the best was yet to come, at least in your mind. Once you saw the tails emerge and form your eyes were locked to them. You thought they were standing on their toes because they had to but slowly, almost imperceptibly you realized the the bones in their ankle were changing. Once you saw it though you could not unsee it. Their heels had shrunk, and their feet had narrowed. They would not be able to stand on those if they wanted to over the course of another exciting hour you watched their toes join into wide, cloven hooves. Fur grew around them, short and fuzzy and soft. When it finally seemed to be over they both had functional legs like a bipedal ungulate, although the curve in their back seemed a bit unnatural. You are not sure when it happened, but at some point during the night you fell asleep.

-

You woke up sweating. Light was seeping into the stable. The two girls were in the same position they were in when you saw them last, looking as comfortable as ever. You got up, rubbed your back and slowly left. The stable through the door. As you opened it the girls stood up straight and stepped back briefly. When you closed it they leaned forward and rested on it again rather comfortably. One had her arms crossed, while the other had her head tilted to one side with her cheek resting on her hand.

“Morning...” You hazarded. They smiled, but there was no answer. A local man brushed past you suddenly.

“Can I?” He asked.

“Uh...” You did not answer fast enough so he simply held a short mug out and pulled on the left Cow's long pink teet. To your surprise and delight, and her as well, a thin stream of milk squirted out.

“That feels great...” She mused.

You stared blankly at them until the man got enough and left. “You can talk?”

“Moo?” She asked with an innocent smile.

“I heard you talk!” You insisted.

“Yeah, I guess.” She shrugged.

“What about the other one.” You looked and the other girl was still drooling on her tits and looked mostly unaware. The cognoscente one shrugged.

“So... She's still brainless but you can talk? Can you remember who you were?”

“I remember getting attacked by a really handsome bull back at the Inn. After that it was mostly black until I woke up this morning. As for remembering who I was? Yeah.”

“So you're cured?” You asked excitedly.

The girl looked down curiously and lifted on of her hooves. “I wouldn't say that... I really, really want a Bull to fill me with lots and lots of babies for... Well, for ever. But, barring that, I kind of just need to be milked a little.” She sighed heavily.

“I feel... Close to the same but I know what I am now. I don't feel too bad about it. When I think about the Bull that turned me I'm not bitter, all I can think of him as is 'my' people. He's doing what we need to to carry on for another generation.”

“Why are you 'smart' while the other is like that?”

“Wrong one to ask, honey.” The Cow smiled contentedly.

You observed them both closely for any difference, like the back of one of those kids menu's at a restaurant.

“Ah!” You pointed.

“What?” See something?”

“Your horns...”

“What about 'em?” She touched the tip and pulled back her hand quickly.

“Ow...”

“They're at least two inchest longer than hers!” You realized.

“Ooh. Neat!” The cow offered encouragingly.

You thought out loud. “What if the parasite grows along with the host? When they fall off, the bigger horns allow their hosts to become smarter while the smaller ones... Make Cows like her.” You stared at the one drooling out of her plush lips.

“But it doesn't make any sense. After several generations most of you would be smart, right?” The cow looked at you, then glanced away with a shrug. She had no idea what to add.

“I need to figure this out.”

“Figure what out?” Lyla yawned.

“That one can talk!” You pointed her out.

“Can she?” Lyla placed a hand on the hilt of her sword. The Cow made her eyes cross. She stared straight ahead and let out a low, guttural 'Moo.' Lyla relaxed and shook her head.

“Right, yes, she can 'talk.' Very 'cute.' We need to get moving, Eve. You can collect them, right?”

“Y-yeah.” You nodded. Lyla left for the Cart. You began to open the gate. After she was out of sight you whispered.

“Why didn't you say anything?”

“Why would I?” The Cow whispered back.

“I'm not a genius or anything but I know when someone's going to kill me.”

“But... You're smart. You can talk. This is big. It means that you aren't just dumb animals all the time.”

“Uh...” The Cow stared at you with a brow raised.

“That's bad. From your perspective and her perspective, I'm a monster. Right?” She nodded.

“I am. So... What's worse, a dumb monster or a smart monster? What do you think people like would want to do to a smart monster?”

“Kill it.” You admitted.

“What do you mean people like her?”

The Cow smiled curiously. “You're not actually 'with' her, are you?”

“Not officially.” You breathed nervously.

“Yeah, you look scared. That girl is a Cultivator. People like her train to keep order in the world and hunt down things like me. I remember that much from back when I was... Well, me. I'm probably screwed if I let her know I'm smart, but you don't seem to confident with her, either.”

“I... Am not sure if I'm going to live if I go with her. I'm being taken to some Ascended Great Master and if she thinks that I'm 'Scriven' or whatever, who knows what'll happen to me?”

“Sounds like we should leave together, go find the Herd and live safely and happily with them.” The Cow offered.

“You look super aroused just being around us, I think you'd fit in.”

“But I would be-”

“Bred like cattle for the rest of your life... Your body would be shaped for it. If you're anything like me or her, it's not like you'd care. In fact, you'd probably like it a lot.” The girl reached out and caressed your cheek gently. It felt tempting. You knew what you were getting with her. With Lyla, you were completely in the dark.
