Help Delilah on the bridge!

Argh! Cameron's going to help out Jace, so that'll probably be fine, since it's two versus one. But Delilah's also in a two versus one right now, and that's not good, and you don't really like her attitude but you still don't want her to get hurt. So... argh!

It's quite a distance to the bridge, and the monsters are much much faster than you, so by the time you arrive it's already goin' down.

Delilah jumps over a scythe-swipe from the monster behind her, planting a foot onto the bridge's railing midair and pushing off of it to send extra **** into a blunt bottom-of-sickle-handle strike to the side of the monster's head with a little roar. You stop on the gravel path, skidding a little bit, and pant to catch your breath as you raise up your pistol and try to find a safe way to point it at a monster.

"Don't worry, Delilah! I'm here!" You reassure her. Delilah looks over her shoulder and groans, before her and the two monsters continue their quick-moving back and forth that they've got going on.

You poke your tongue out from the corner of your mouth, looking down the top of your gun with immense focus. You're trying to track the monsters' movement, but much to your frustration it's not quite working out. They're moving too fast, and Delilah keeps getting a bit too close to being in the way for you to risk shooting.{if@ ExplosiveShots == False} Besides, now that you know that there's no point shooting at the chitin armour on their flanks, it's causing some real trouble.{endif}

Annoyed, you lower your arm back down again and press your lips together. "Delilah!" You call, lifting your other hand to cup your mouth.

"Shut up! You're pulling me out of the zone!"

"Delilah!" You shout again, lifting your gun high up and waving it from side to side. "I wanna shoot them! To help!"

She doesn't reply this time, which is a total Delilah move. You were gonna ask her if she could stop moving, but now that you think about it, that probably wasn't the greatest request to make. Still, you need to do something! She's getting in trouble! You should get closer.

Lifting your shield, ready for protection, you also keep your gun arm up and move quickly to climb the bridge yourself. If you can get one of them focused on you, Delilah will have a super easier time, and all you've got to do is not get hurt and then shoot it.

Delilah roars loudly again, jumping up and landing atop the bannister this time before running along it to hop down onto the patch of land on the other side of it. She turns with a wicked grin, pulling something out from behind her back, just as you reach the base of the bridge and run up it to engage with the back monster. Her face drops.

"Debbie! You idiot!" She shouts to you, as you skid to a halt on top of the bridge. "Just get away from there!"

The two monsters look to each other, a bit confused by the sudden disengagement, and now even more confused by you just jogging up to behind them. They just keep looking from Delilah to you to each other, seeming to communicate with their eyes to try figure out what the hell's going on.

And you're doing the same! Your shoulders drop, crestfallen.

"I- I'm just trying to help!"

"Get- go away!" Delilah lifts and arm and aggressively waves it to one side. Even though you don't like her, it's still not fun to hear, so you're a bit embarrassed to be holding back tears a little.

"Why are you always like this?!" You shout at her as she scrunches up her face in irritation. The two monsters seem to have made their decision, and it's to just sorta watch what's happening for now and play it by ear. "I came here to help you, and you're just so rude!"

"Great!" Delilah shouts. "Awesome! Thank you! Now go back!"

Oh, you're really ready to give her a piece of your mind now. No, you know what? You swallow the sadness back down, and sniff away the tears. You're not going to get upset about this. You're very very angry!

"{if DelilahGotYa == True}I'm always trying to be nice! What's even your problem?! I try to thank you for the food and letting me stay over last week, you yell at me. I try to help you, you yell at me. You're always yelling at me! Stop being so mean!{else}Why won't you just be friends with me?" You shout. "I'm only trying to be nice, and you're always so mean and yell-y!{endif}"

"Debbie, you idiot! I'm trying to blow the bridge up! Get the fuck off of it!"
