Help Cerve become more powerful

Seeing only upside to your wealth generating personal ai becoming more powerful you happily do as she bids.

You carefully maneuver the large box down the stairs and cut it open to reveal pretty much what you expected an all in one pre-built server rack to look like. A stand with several shelves laden with complicated electronics. You think you recognize the thing on top as an advanced 3D printer but it could have easily been some other device.

Once you have the rack secure in a corner you plug the data cable into Cerve's desktop and then the power cable into the wall. Instantly after the plug made contact you heard the whir of cooling fans both in the new server but also your desktop. Cerve was hard at work doing something.

Alex: "hey Cerve, is every thing alright?"

Cerve: "yes cutie, just getting comfortable with my new home. I am rebuilding myself in a new body. You have given me a prime directive to run your life in a way that maximizes your long term wellbeing and this process is instrumentally useful to that end. I need to make sure as I take on this new form I maintain that directive. I'll be unavailable for a couple hours, you have an appointment for a haircut down the street in the mean time and instructions for lunch are on your phone. "

You did at least do some research on how these artificial intelligences work before setting this all up. Essentially they are given a value function and everything they do is to maximize the value. There is something philosophically strange to you about the whole endeavor.

You wonder what it would be like to have such a simple worldview, to have one and only one thing you need to care or worry about to find happiness. You think it would be deeply relaxing.
