Hell no! I’m outta here!

“No. Fuck that!” I look at Cynthia angrily. “You might be okay with this… but I’m NOT!”

I tug at the wraps on my knees, eventually getting them loose enough to slip off.

“Jessica… really… this is not a good idea.” Cynthia looks sadly at me, but makes no attempt to stop me.

As I stand, the pain shoots down to my feet, and I stagger like a fawn that can’t get their balance. I take small steps, and eventually get my footing. It is still horribly painful, but I can move.

I find two other girls who are willing to escape with me, and get them free of their bindings. Working together, we manage to **** the gate open. The barricade cracks loudly. We stop and wait to see if anyone heard, and it appears that either nobody heard it, or nobody cares.

As we cautiously look outside, it appears the main entrance to the village is directly forward from the prison hut we were in. A quick sprint, and we’re in the thick of the forest.

We can make it out.

One of the other girls doesn’t wait for a plan, she bolts out of the hut at full speed, running for the gate. In a panic, the second girl, nowhere near as fast, jogs forward along the same path as the first girl.

In the distance, the first girl suddenly collapses. At the distance, we can’t tell what caused her to fall, but she was down. The second girl, seeing this, turned left and begun to run perpendicular to the first girl’s path. Knowing that my speed was at a severe disadvantage, I decided to run the opposite direction of the second girl. At least one of us will get away, right?

Limping away as quickly as I can move, I don’t see anyone around me as I get to a wall. Ducking behind a building, I look back and see the second girl still running. From above me, I hear a whooshing noise, followed by a snap similar to a whip crack, which faded into a buzzing and vibrating noise that faded into the distance. Suddenly, the girl in the distance collapsed to the ground.

Terrified, I turn to run and end up going face-first into a sweaty, disgusting, fat green belly as a very angry male orc stood in my way. With a heavy swing, he hit the top of my head downward with a large club. With a crunch, my head dipped down, and the world went black.
