Helga explains the rules

Helga snapped her fingers and a large TV screen appeared above the gateway to the castle. On it was displayed the names of all of the contestants as well as a number next to them. They read as follows:

Angelica: 20VP

Christina: 20VP

Daelana: 20VP

Tyra: 20VP

Lila: 20VP

Athalia: 20VP

The girls looked up at the scores with bewilderment, doing their best to continue covering their nudity.

“You girls will earn victory points, or VP, throughout the season,” said Helga, “There are also bonus points, or BP that are a sort of currency to buy things with, but that will be more relevant later. For now, VPs are what you should be worrying about. These can be earned through various means. The most common will be doing things that the master likes, showing him affection, or engaging in sexual activities with him!”

“Sexual…” said Christina, “We have to… have sex with him?”

“You can’t be serious!” said Angelica, “Trying to compete for him is one thing, but sex is out of the question!”

“Do what you will, just remember what happens to those who lose,” said Helga.

Angelica pouted while Christina looked away, scared and embarrassed. Lila also shook with fear, not wanting to do anything sexual with the man she feared so much. Daelana was furious, but didn’t let it out as she didn’t want to stir up any more trouble while she was already naked. Tyra and Athalia didn’t speak, and in fact looked as if they were in deep thought, considering the possibilities.

“Anyways, VPs can also be earned in challenges that will cap off each round,” said Helga, “They may also be rewarded for good deeds at my discretion. For example, I thought it was quite exemplary for Tyra to take the initiative in accepting the terms of the game earlier, so I’ll reward her.”

Helga lifted a finger and a loud melodic beep could be heard throughout the environment. They all looked up to the TV to see the score had changed.

Tyra accepted the game. +1 VP

Angelica: 20VP

Christina: 20VP

Daelana: 20VP

Tyra: 21VP

Lila: 20VP

Athalia: 20VP

“Just one for now,” said Helga, “Keep in mind you can also lose VPs in the same ways: displeasing the master in any way or displeasing me. I have started you all at 20 as I suspect many of you to lose points in this early stage.”

“Are you kidding me?” said Daelana, “We’re mortal enemies with him? How do you expect us to not displease this evil shit?”

Another, more negative sounding beep rang through the air. The girls saw the screen change again.

Daelana insulted the master. -1 VP

Angelica: 20VP

Christina: 20VP

Daelana: 19VP

Tyra: 21VP

Lila: 20VP

Athalia: 20VP

“What?” said Daelana.

“I was expecting that you’d be the first to lose points,” said Helga, “Be careful what you do with my generous 20 point grace. If a round ends and you have less than 0 VPs, you are eliminated and will go through a permanent punishment!”

“Like the punishment you warned us against?” said Tyra, “We’ve gotta be careful then.”

“Don’t just accept that! This is awful!” said Angelica.

“Keep in mind that while I’m only adding and deducting 1 VP here, the numbers will get bigger from here on out,” said Helga.

Everyone gulped. In the silence, Athalia spoke up.

“So, do you win by getting more points than everyone else?” she said.

The girls turned to face Athalia, seeing the malice in her eyes. It was clear to them all that she would be playing to win.

“Not quite,” said Helga, “Anyone who gets over 100 points will be considered a winner and will join the master’s harem when the show is over! The game will end in 5 rounds. Anyone who hasn’t reached 100 by then will be reduced to his slaves.”

“Wait, so even if we win we become, what, one of his wives?” said Angelica.

“This is bullshit!” said Daelana, “There are no good outcomes!”

“I assure you, being a part of the harem is significantly better than any other outcome,” said Helga, “I can also say with utmost confidence that all winners on this show have gone on to lead fulfilling lives with their masters. I think each one of you who wins will find that you enjoy it!”

“Enjoy it?” said Angelica, “I’d never enjoy being so close with that bastard!”

“Angelica, don’t!” said Christina.

Angelica insulted the master. -3 points

“Huh?” said Angelica, “So many points already?”

“I did warn you,” said Helga.

Daelana ended up shaking with rage, clenching her fist while bowing her head down, almost driven to the point of tears.

“Damn it all!” she said under her breath, “My oath! My vengeance! How can it be like this now? Why is there no way out?”

Malgor took in all of the rules in stride, still not sure what to think but keeping a stoic face up as he began getting a better grasp of things.
