Heiliod

The sand strider as he is called by locals, keeper of the desert and it's many dunes. He is very protective and it comes off as agression, but he just seeks to keep the people and animals safe by guarding the village and the oasis that provides them with water and food. It is known by the people there that he is often at the beck and call of his caretaker whom he is madly in love with for reasons unknown. Some speculate that the ritual preformed makes him infatuated as a means of keeping him from being as predatory as his appearance.

The marriage of a snake and man gives the basic appearance, human torso and a snake tail. Only his head is mix of both with a cobra's hood and a pair of mandibles outside his fanged maw. Those come from the bits of scorpion mixed in as his tail ends in a poison tip and he has a pair of claws instead of hands. But he has a second set of arms ending in reptilian called fingers. Yellow scales, bronze flesh, dull blue carapace, and eyes of a deep palm green. And since he is a snake on the lower half, his genitals are hidden away naturally so most don't know he has two slick skinned penises underneath.

Heiliod can call up sandstorms, cause an oasis to expand, summon walls of sandstone, and even cause a heatwave to scare off those who seek to claim the desert's treasures. A temple was built for him long ago and is hidden by shifting dunes when he is away until he returns to sleep and be cared for by his mistress. Outsiders fear him and warned travelers of his territory being off limits to those seeking untold riches hidden away in this desolate place.
