Heaven?

"Zack wake up. Why are you laying on the ground?" Zack felt someone nudge his shoulder. Zack quickly sat up and was surprised that his ribs weren't hurting anymore. Zack looked around until he came face to face with his grandpa. He noticed that he was in a forest of some kind.

"Grandpa!? What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be dead? I was at your funeral a few months ago."

Zack's grandpa smiled back at him. "I am dead."

"Is this heaven?"

Zack's grandfather busted out in laughter. "No you doofus. I'm always on your mind. This is just a dream. I saw you knock that prick out. That was some **** you had there."

"Well, the asshole had it coming. Putting his hands on Chloe and trying to **** her is not gonna happen on my watch." said Zack grimly.

"That's what I want to talk about. The redhead, Chloe. I know you love her. I always watched you two play together when you were little kids. You always chased each other at the park and you always pulled on her hairs. All these are indications of trust and love. I told your mother that both of you are perfect for each other but your mother just smiled at me and said nothing. Zack, you can deny it all you want but you have feelings for her. If protecting her was not enough of a sign, then I don't know what will. Zack, you should talk with her and truthfully tell her how you feel."

"Grandpa I can't, she is my best friend. Nothing else." said Zack unconvincingly. Zack pondered at his grandpa's words.

Zack's grandfather just waved his hands at him and said, "Stop lying to yourself. Take care of the girl. She is one special girl." He started walking away towards the trees. Zack tried to call out to him but he wouldn't turn around.

Then, Zack vision blackened and heard someone crying? "Why was someone crying? And why are they repeating my name over and over?" though Zack.

"Zack...Zack...please wake up!"
