Heather goes to check on him

Upon seeing Zack head back to the cabin, Heather exited the lake and dried herself off. Gavin and Brandon couldn’t help but look at the sultry brunette as she rubbed herself down with her towel. Even Kurt couldn’t avert his eyes. The sound of Victoria’s voice snapped the three young men out of their trances.

“What’s up, Heather?” she asked.

“I’m just going to check up on Zack. Make sure he’s okay,” Heather called out before walking back.

“Looks like Heather’s going to play nurse for Zack! Lucky bastard!” Brandon laughed while earning an eye roll from Ashley.

“Looks like Heather’s going to get herself a piece of ass! That oughta make Zack’s head feel better!” Kurt suggested. “Or make it explode!”

“All depends on which head she makes explode!” Brandon guffawed.

“Really guys? That’s my best friend and YOUR cousin you’re talking about! Cut it out!" Ashley yelled.

Meanwhile, over on the dock, Chloe watched Gavin’s heart sink as the two fools in the water joked about his secret crush paying a visit to his best friend.

“I’m so sorry, Gavin,” the red-head whispered as Gavin averted his eyes away from the sexy girl walking away from him.

“It’s okay, Chloe. It’s not like I ever really had a shot at getting her anyway,” sulked the broken-hearted teen.

“I’ll talk to Zack when he’s feeling better. Tell him to back off from Heather,” said Chloe.

“NO! DON’T do that!” Gavin begged.

“Why not?”

“Because I want her to be happy, even if it means she’s with somebody else.”

“Even if that somebody else is Zack?”

“Especially if it’s Zack! I want my best friend to be happy too! It's not his fault Heather likes him,” Gavin stated to end the conversation.

As her friends talked about her by the lake, Heather hurried back to the cabin. She was amazed at how easy it was to get Zack to focus on her and not on Victoria. Even though she felt sorry for him not feeling well, she knew it was the best opportunity to put her plan into action. After quietly grabbing a few things from their room, Heather showered in the main hall bathroom to allow Zack a chance to fall asleep. Once she had washed off the smell of lake water she dressed herself, did up her makeup, and checked herself out in the mirror.

“Okay girl. Time to put Phase Two into effect! You got this!” she said to herself before adjusting her bra.

Once she had squared herself away to her liking, Heather stepped out of the bathroom and headed in to check on Zack.
