Heard Korant
I stood there, engrossed by the enchanting reflections upon the starlit pond when I heard familiar footsteps. Without turning, I acknowledged my steadfast bodyguard, Korant. The moon’s gentle glow revealed his armored silhouette.
“Evening, Korant,” I murmured, my gaze still fixated on the pond’s ethereal beauty.
His response came as a silent nod, a testament to his vigilant watchfulness in this foreign Night Elf realm.
Moments stretched in quietude before he broke the silence in his typically gruff, yet comforting manner.
“This place is as peculiar as the tales say, my prince. The Night Elves... they share an intimacy with the land that baffles me. It’s almost as though the very forest observes our every step.”
Korant’s unease seeped through his words, a rare crack in his stoic demeanor, revealing that even the stalwart knight felt the mystical pull of Astranaar. I knew what he meant. Despite the serene atmosphere, it felt as if we did not fully belong here.
“The talks are over. We’ll be having some ale with the dwarves, you should join us, prince.”
