Heading to this date

As it would turn out, Ludita had something special in mind for her date with Annita. Sure, she wasn't completely sure if Annita would be quite on board for this.

"I was thinking that we go to a restaurant." Ludita announced, leading her girlfriend towards the main street of Pallet Town. There, little shops and eateries lined the road. "How does Mexican food sound?"

Annita nodded, tightening her grip on Ludita's hand for the moment. This would be the first real test of their new body. Sure, she had ate a couple meals with Delia. But those had been in the comfort of their home. They were going to a place that was known to cause stomach issues. Hopefully, her newfound body could handle such a strain.

"Good." Annita finally answered as the door to the restaurant came into view. Shifting herself to be behind her girlfriend, the church lady let Ludita open the door up.

Inside, the restaurant was mostly empty. Sitting themselves down, a waitress made her way over and handed over the menus.

"Do you have an idea on what you want?" Ludita remarked, Annita taking the time to look at the menu. But try as she might, her gaze seemed unable to really focus on the words. "Annita?"

Annita took a deep breath.

"My eyes seem to be having trouble with the words on the menu." the church lady remarked and Ludita pulled something out of her purse - a set of plain, cats-eye glasses. The sort that old women such as her and Annita would wear in their day-to-day lives.

"Try these." Ludita remarked, fitting the glasses over Annita's eyes. What had once been blurry and unintelligible became crystal clear. "They look perfect on you, dear."

Annita smiled, focusing back on the menu for the moment.
