Heading for the hospital

The ride from the Cerulean City Gym to the hospital was one that brought with a sense of dread for Carol and Misty. Short as it was, the baby could come at any moment. If they didn't hurry, they would need to give birth in the car. Which wasn't something that Misty would prefer to do here.

"Ugh..." Carol muttered, pain surging about her body. Caroline had never said anything about this when it came to childbirth. No, she had conveniently glossed over that part. How nice of her to do that. Especially after she went through the trouble of asking for advice before going through the surrogacy process for her beloved wife.

"Holding up?" Misty inquired as the hospital came into view. Carol gave a **** nod and looked out the window. Soon, she would bring a little bundle of joy into the world. That had been something Caroline had talked at length about. Not that she could really remember much of it right now.
