Heading Home

Leaving the church behind, Mabelle and Carol took the walk home slowly.

"Well that was fun." Carol cooed as she looked over to Mabelle. Watching the elderly coordinator turn red, a smile formed on her face. Lasting only a moment, it was long enough to throw Mabelle off here. Not a lot, but enough to feel a twinge of jealousy from her companion.

"Yeah." Mabelle answered as she looked in her companion's direction. Taking a deep breath, a thought formed in her head. One not normally seen, but still there nonetheless. "So... when's the wedding?"

Carol looked away, her turn for ablaze cheeks. Words escaped her lips, but nothing that could be considered coherent in the slightest. While she would love to marry Ludita, that they had just met. That, and it would be best to wait and see everything their fellow elderly lady had to offer.

"Maybe in the future." Carol answered as their destination came into view. Picking up the pace ever so slightly, an effort was taken to maintain this elderly walk.

At the door, it was Mabelle who opened it. Heading through, the elderly pair was met with Caroline at the kitchen table. Drinking a cup of coffee, her gaze was

"How did it go?" the mother inquired, Carol and Mabelle looking at each other. Holding in giggling of all gestures, that got the pair a look.

"Quite well, actually." Mabelle started and caught a raised eyebrow from her 'daughter'. Was that really weird here? She honestly didn't think so, but that was likely the minority here.

"Also, I met a nice woman by the name of Ludita and scheduled an outing later in the week with her." Carol announced and got a look from Caroline. While very much not what she expected to have happen for her mother, it was a welcome surprise here. Heck, it could even offer up some new opportunities here.

"I'm happy to hear that." Carol answered as the elderly pair took a seat at the table. While she would need to grab coffee cups here, that was a small price to pay here. Especially with the way things were going here...
