Head to the roof!

The four of you burst through the metal door at the top of the school, coming out to the late night sky. Staring up, you can see the beautiful night's sky, filled with stars like glistening jewels, is slowly being chased away by light of day.

"Holy shit, they were covered in a wild bunch of paint. That was so fucking funny," Ben cries.

"Good plan," Lukas says. "We ensured this night will forever be the time we humiliated them. They'll never forget it."

"Not for a second," Daniel nods.

"Yeah," you smile. "Christ, it's late."

"What do we do now that we're up here? I've nothing left to drink," Ben mumbles.

"Don't you worry, Benny boy. I've that taken care of," Lukas smiles, slipping a small tin box.

Lukas pops the top off, offering you each a large, thick joint. You lean forward, grabbing one and lifting it to your lips. Fumbling through your pockets, Daniel taps you on the shoulder and offers you a Zippo lighter. You take it, a flame bursting out as you spark it, and light your joint, staring out at the campus grounds.

"Hard to believe it's been a whole year," you say.

"Time flies," Daniel says. "It'll be a shame to leave it behind."

"Ah, we have a whole summer ahead to spend time together and celebrate. No more uniforms, no more studying, no more classes. We'll be free as birds!" Lukas grins, taking a long puff. "You give anymore thought to whether you'll be joining us, Jack?"

"I... maybe. I'm, like, 90% sure what I'm doing, but I need to get a few things in order."

"No worries," Lukas shrugs. "It'd be a shame if you weren't there, but follow your heart."

"Or your cock," Ben adds, as you burst into laughter, the lads soon joining in.

You take a long drag of your joint, watching the sun hit the horizon, it's rays of light spilling out across the campus you've grown to love over the year. Leaning back, the waves of exhaustion hitting you, you decide to enjoy this moment while it lasts.
