Head out to meet up with Caoimhe

You pause, suddenly remembering that Caoimhe invited you out earlier. You struggle to remember her room number, before thankfully remembering it's Room 1, Floor 2 of your dorm. You quickly head up the staircase to the second floor, before popping in front of Room 1, quickly knocking on the door.

After a few seconds, the door swings open as the tiny girl from the play who plays the monkey, Katie, lies there.

"Oh, hi Jack," she says. "What are you doing here?"

"Hey, Katie," you say. "I was just popping in to see if Caoimhe was around to do something."

"Oh, she can't," Katie says apologetically. "Sorry, Caoimhe's got plans for tonight. She's got a date with some guy."

"What?" you asked confused.

"Oh yeah, she's been rabbiting on about this guy for a while, though she won't give me the name of him because she knows I'd muck it up somehow."

A shoe flies through the air and hits Katie in the back of head. She yelps, turning around in annoyance.

"What was that for, Beth?"

"You idiot, that's the guy!" Beth hisses from out of view.

"Oh," Katie says, nodding in understanding. "Um... oops. Yeah, that makes more sense. So is he off limits, then?"

Katie ducks the second shoe thrown with a giggle, as Beth moves up to the door.

"One moment, Caoimhe's just finding her earrings," Beth says, before yanking Katie out of the gap between doorway and door.

"Uh... sure, whatever," you say.

You lean against the hallway, waiting for about a minute before Caoimhe steps out.

"Hi," she smiles, nervously.

You pause, looking her over. Unlike her normal ponytail, her long, straight hair is let down. Two small, shiny silver earrings dot either ear. Her lips are painted a slightly redder tone than she naturally has, with a touch of mascara. The make-up's light, but it does accentuate her features. It's clear she's tried to look good for you.

"Oh, hey," you say, taken aback.

"Do I look OK?" Caoimhe asks.

"Gorgeous," you say, nodding. "Damn, if I thought you were going to go ahead and get yourself looking like that, I'd have put a lot more effort into my own appearance."

"It's fine," she smiles at you, beaming at the compliment. "And thanks for the compliment."

"So, what do you want to do?" you ask. "Our plans were pretty vague."

"I don't know," Caoimhe says. "We could go to the games room, that could be fun."

"What's there?" you ask.

"Uh... there's a snooker table, but I don't really play, and a few board games. It's not like there's many other places to do. We could head around to the smoking area, if you want to do that."
