Head Downstairs

With a slight grumble under your breath you head out your door and down the narrow hallway and the even narrower stairs. You pass through a floor of rental chambers, and finally make it down to the main tavern floor.

"Ah, you finally made it down here," a gruff man dressed in finer working clothes says from his place behind the bar. "Don't know what the witch told you, but you'll be working here from now on. Do you understand?"

You bow your head in a peculiar automatic submissiveness, "Yes, sir."

"Good. Now, I don't know what experience you have when it comes to being a tavern wench, but your main job is to keep the customers happy, whatever it may take," he smirks a little at the last bit. "But your official job is taking orders and serving drinks. Do you understand?"

Once again you give an automatic nod, "Yes, Sir."
