Theo simply reversed his pencil, and with the rubber eraser, undid the rule. Immediately the cafe popped back to how it had been before the rule. There were several more men here than before he had written the topless rule, but it wasn't like the Bay had no strip clubs. A topless barista was nice, but not a game-changer.

Theo looked down at the notebook. He recalled the burning fury he had felt as he realized that his rule had backfired and he would not be able to touch the beautiful redhead. Alyssa, he tested the name.

Theo winced slightly in shame. Hearing others talk about it really made him sound like he was some sort of misogynistic ****! Theo was no such thing! He just .... he just wanted to finally get a relationship with a real woman.

"Brockton Bay is a fucking shithole," Alyssa commented, the female customer nodding in full agreement.
