Josh thinks for a while, then sighs. He wants to get out, and this is the way out. He doesn't like it, but if this is how they decide who to release, then there's no point delaying the inevitable.

He takes the collar and stares at it for a moment, thinking about how he got here and wondering what was in store for him. If only he hadn't sent that message...but it is what it is. All that's left now is to try to get the progress bars on the screen behind that wall into position while losing as little of his own identity as possible.

Pressing the main body of the collar against his Adam's apple, he brings the straps around behind his neck, fumbling as he attempts to put the strap through the slot without seeing. Eventually he succeeds, and to no surprise the box on the back of his neck grabs onto the strap that he just pushed into the slot, and pulls it through to the other side, tightening it around his neck until it is tight but not constricting. He tugs at the collar, and finds that it is locked in place, just like the blowjob machine was. Since the straps are made of metal, they have no give at all.

The metal is cold against Josh's skin, but this feeling quickly dissipates as it warms up to body temperature. The collar is a part of him now, for who knows how long.

"Good," the voice says approvingly. "I have a good connection to the collar. Now go back to your seat and get comfortable so we can finish the setup."

He drops to his hands and knees again and climbs under the screen, sitting down in his seat and adjusting it back to a comfortable reclined position. The screen then lights up.
