He opens the game and begins.

One short trailer was the only thing that had been released to preview Icarus in 6 years. The trailer wasn’t even gameplay, it was all pre rendered. Since then no new information had come out which is surprising.

Before John laid on his bed, he got his helmet and put it on. He then took out the second copy of the game and looked at the cover art. It was a picture of a dragon burning a city. Like usual he saw the age rating which to his surprise was AO - Adults Only.

“Wow... I’ve never seen a rating like that.” He commented.

He removed the bubble wrap and the plastic which surround the case. Inside the case was a black disk on which Icarus was written in cursive.

John pressed a button on his Quantum Dream which opened up the disk tray. He inserted the disk and pressed a button, causing the tray to slide shut with a whir. The game wasn’t on the disk itself. His computer couldn’t run a game that big, computer technology hadn’t advanced that far. Instead the disk was an encrypted access code to the Icarus servers, and also served as a backup for his personal game information.

"Aye Jamie start the fucking game, I'm about to get on." John shouted.

He then pressed a button on his helmet.

“Would you like to enter Quantum Dream”. A robotic voice asked.

“Yes”. He answered

Everything went black.
