He met a girl...

What could make a guy change as much as meeting a girl?

Of course, it was not love at first sight, as some of you might suppose.

Their first meeting was pure chance. Ibuki had left the Black Market to deal with a business. He was following a herbivore who their boss got his eyes into, and he even went as far as to follow this herbivore to their high school.

Just as he was following the herbivore, when he bumped into someone else.

A female wolf.

The most beautiful one Ibuki had ever seen.

Ibuki hated dogs, like all good big felines. However, even he had to admit that this female wolf was beautiful. And pretty kind too. She apologized to him after bumping, and gave him back the notebook he dropped when they bumped, and then just went her way.

That should have been the last time they crossed paths. But Ibuki still had to follow that herbivore.

What meant, he went back to that same school, where he eventually bumped into the beautiful female wolf again. And again. And again.

By the seventh time they bumped into each other, the female wolf finally asked the lion if he was stalking her, what Ibuki firmly denied. From there, the two finally started to have a proper conversation. Ibuki thought he had gotten enough informations on that herbivore, and decided to have a conversation with the female wolf.

It was one of the most relaxing conversations Ibuki had on his life.

He knew he was supposed to hate this female only for being a canine, but she was just so easy to talk with. She had a voice as beautiful as her face, and she had a lot of interesting things to say to him. She certainly was way more intelligent than Ibuki thought most dogs were.

Ibuki was so absorbed into their conversation that he didn't noticed time pass. He was late to return to the Shishigumi's base and report back about their target! Oh, man! The boss would give him a chewing for that! If he hurried, maybe it would not be literally.

Ibuki told the female wolf that he had to go, and then she asked him for his phone number. Ibuki was surprised. So much that he didn't questioned, and just gave it to her, and she then gave him hers'.

"You are nice to talk to." The wolf said, "I want to talk to you more, if you ever have time. By the way, my name is Leano."

"... I'm Ibuki." The lion said, and with this, the two carnivores, who now had each other's numbers, parted ways. Leano went to meet with some friends for a night in town, while Ibuki was left dumb folded, trying to understand what had just happened, before he finally snapped out of it and rushed to report back, now very much aware of that wolf's cellphone number now on his contacts... And wondering if he should actually give her a call later on.
