He isn’t going to the glade

The edge of the glade is not a good place to see which girl is leaving. It is better to stay close to the path. The problem is that there are no good hiding spots there. If a guy were to just stand there to watch the girls as they walk by, it will be really awkward for the girls. A few days ago, I found myself a bush close to the path that is large enough for me to hide in. Yesterday, I traveled all the way there and I hid an axe at the roots of that bush. Now all I have to do is find it. Yeah, there it is. I get to the bush and grab the axe. I use the axe to chop the bush off at its roots, and there you go. I’ve got my camouflage. With this bush in my hands, I find my way to the path and get as close to the glade as possible. Then I sit next to the thickest tree I can find and hold the bush in front of me. This should hide me well enough that none of the girls can recognize me.

After a while, I hear the bell ring three times. It’s about to begin. After a moment, I hear the bell once more. The first girl is on her way. It is Tiona. I can clearly see it is her when she walks between the torches and then later walks past me. I notice Tiona looking around but she doesn’t notice me.
