Chapter 16
by TheScyle
What happened to him?
He is wondering that himself
The next thing John felt was a push against his shoulder.
"Hey, hey boy? Wake up, this is the final station. Everyone has to get out!" He opened his eyes. What? Final station? Did he die? Was this his train to the afterlife? "Hey boy! Move your lazy butt out of the train!" He was slowly gathering his thoughts and realized his mistake. He slept in on the train. What time was it? According to the light outside, it was already late evening, if not night time.
"I am sorry, sir." John apologized to the man, a train worker as it seemed. "Could you inform me where I am? I must have missed my stop." He asked, as he noticed a new pop up message.

"You are at Peak Des. The Final station. Now get off already, I want to get home!" Not the worst place. Peak Des was not to far off from his home. Maybe 15 minutes by car. He let the guy push him out, just to find himself on a small railroad station. Just one rail, so this was the only line stopping here. Wait, did that mean it wasn't driving back? Then how would he get home? Peak Des was close, but by foot it was still at least an hour, if not more. Rather more.
A look at the railroad plan confirmed his fears. This train would ride off without passagers. Great. Just great. He had no money. He was cold. He had no way to get home.
He decided to eat the rotten pie and began walking. He knew which direction to walk in and once he got closer to his home, he would know how to get there as well. A clock he passed informed him that it was 11pm. He had slept more than 5 hours on the train. Damn. That means he must have been left asleep through multiple final stops. They probably only kicked him off now because the train was going to be put aside for the night. Better this than being locked up after all.
A quick check of his character sheet informed him of his situation.
He nodded. Seemed not to bad, actually. He could work with that.
MURDEROUS INTENT NOTICED
He stopped dead in his tracks. Murderous? Someone wanted to kill him? Holy shit. Wait, why did he stop? He ran as fast as he could. If he was lucky he might escape the robbery before it happened. There was just this one problem... he ran against an invisible wall.
"No escape for you, human!" He heard a voice from behind himself. Slowly, he turned around, looking at what used this cliché way of threat. It was at the same time threatening and funny. It looked like a black version of the pokemon Golbat. Just bigger. Or not? He didn't know so much about pokemon heights but this bat was over 5 foot tall. He quickly threw an observe at the monster.
Giant Bat lvl 4 creature.
100/100 hp
This giant bat uses a poison on his victims so he can suck their blood while they are still alive.
"I guess this is it then?" He just said more to himself than to the monster. He gained the powers of an RPG hero. Why did he think there would be no monsters in the wild, as soon as he left the safe streets. He should have trained fighting skills or anything to defend himself. He was a level 4 character, so he probably was paired against a level 4 monster. Just that all his skills were meant to pick up girls, or make his relationship better.
"Prepare to be sucked dry!" The monster said while flying towards him.
Can he find a way out?
