Chapter 3 by croland croland

How does Tom respond?

He has some questions

"Do you know what happened?" Tom said.

He was surprised the words actually came out of his mouth. Everything had gone exactly according to plan, but he still found himself practically slack-jawed in amazement. This beautiful thirty-something desi woman looked nothing like the Diana Miller he had married, and yet she had all of her mannerisms already. They both had known to expect this, but to be confronted with it was overwhelming. He felt momentarily adrift, not sure what would come next.

"Of course Tom. We went over it enough times. Or rather you and the old Diana did. I remember that she didn't being Diana, and thought my body was hot she thought she could use these stickers to effectively swap our minds. She didn't want to be your wife, or a mother any more, and so now I'm the new Diana." The new Diana said with that same cheerful smile that Tom hadn't seen on Diana's face in years.

"And you're okay with that?" Tom said.

"Why wouldn't I be? This is exactly what I wanted. Or what she wanted, if you want to get technical." Diana said putting a hand to her mouth as she let out a soft little chortle.

"And you aren't mad you're not Sophia anymore?" Tom said.

That gave the new Diana some pause. As she thought she tilted her head, letting strands of her thick straight hair fall around her almond-shaped face.

"I mean it feels weird to be called Sophia. I know I was her until recently. I still have all her memories. In a lot of ways I still am Dr. Kahn. Though I guess it's telling I'm more comfortable calling her that instead of Sophia. At my core though she's still there, though. It's like I got recast, and now Dr. Kahn is playing my part. For example, when that woman over there was still Diana, she thought you were kind of a 'pussy.' Now that I have all of Dr. Kahn's memories, and still the core of her personality, I see that term is needlessly derogatory and I know it comes from my own frustrations with my poor upbringing. I find your indecisions annoying like the old Diana, but I also love you like the old Diana did, now I just have a broader worldview and more trainer to contextualize it all. Honestly it's better than the old me ever imagined, I mean have you seen the tits on her." Diana said her grin going wider as she scooped up one of her 'new' breasts in her hand and gave it a squeeze.

Which is when Tom looked at the old Diana.

The woman who used to be Diana still looked the same. She still had those wide hips and that plump ass Tom had always loved to sink his fingers into. She still had that short but stylish haircut. She was still wearing the earrings her mother had given her for her eighteenth birthday. And yet she was at the same time almost unrecognizable. Her face was blank and her eyes stared ahead, focused on nothing. She sat perfectly still, and Tom might have thought she was a statue if she weren't still blinking and breathing.

"What about you?" Tom said, finally addressing the woman.

"I do not understand the question." She said, her voice sounding monotonous and far away.

"Who are you?" Tom said.

"I am nobody." she said.

"Do you remember who you were?" Tom said.

"I was Diana Miller. I retain all of her memories, but know that the woman sitting across from me is now Diana Miller." she said.

"Wow that is creepy. But kinda cool, right? She's like a doll of the old me." Diana said.

"She's not a doll. She's a person!" Tom said.

Diana barked out a laugh.

"I promise you, if she were still the real Diana, she would disagree with you. I understand why you think that, but she's just a body with some memories right now. There is no more 'her'. Every personality trait, every dream, everything that made her Diana is now in me. From a psychiatric point of view she's pretty much a breathing slab of meat at this point." Diana said before a smirk spread across her face. "Allow me to demonstrate."

The new Diana got up and walked to the body of the person who used to hold that name and put her hands on her breasts before smooshing them together and making a honking sound.

Tom flushed with embarrassment. Diana giggled. The old version of her remained perfectly still.

"Why did you do that?!" Tom said.

"Because it was funny, and a little sexy. Besides you needed the demonstration. Look," Diana said before turning to the non-person who sat in front of her. "Did my groping you make you feel anything at all?"

"There was a physical sensation, however I am not currently capable of having any emotional response or interpret the sensory data as either 'good' or 'bad.'" Nobody said.

"See!" Diana said, gesturing triumphantly, before another idea struck her.

Diana walked over to her desk and picked up the phone, hitting the red button that pinged her receptionist.

"Camilla, can you come in here for a second?" Diana said. She waited a moment as a response came and began to twirl the chord of the phone in the exact same way the old Diana used to. "I know it hasn't ended yet, but we need you to double check something. I promise it will be quick."

Diana put down the phone and turned to Tom, an impish look of glee twinkling in her eyes.

Tom nearly jumped as he heard the door open. Camilla, a tired-looking woman of indeterminate age wearing a baggy dress that tried to hide her round body trudged into the office. If she had more energy she might have been confused, but instead just looked resigned as she turned to the new Diana.

"What is it boss?" She said just barely keeping a whinging tone out of her voice.

"Can you tell me the names of everyone you see in this room?" Diana said, trying on her own part to keep the coyness out of her voice.

Camilla sighed.

"Really?" she said.

"Seriously Camilla. I promise it's not a trick question, I just want to prove a point." Diana said.

"Fine. You're Dr. Diana Miller, and that's your husband Tom." Camilla said.

Tom and Diana looked to each other. He could see that familiar gloat on the face of the former Sophia Kahn. He knew enough about his wife that she had something more in store, and relished the chance to rub his nose into it. Though there was something a bit different this time. This time there was none of the venom, just playful flirtation.

"Is that everyone in this room? You're not leaving any person out?" Diana said, and she couldn't help but lift herself on her tippy-toes for just a moment, as she tried not to show her excitement to Camilla.

"Fine. Yes there is another human being in this room. I'm here. Camilla Alvarez, Diana Miller, and Thomas Miller are the names of all the people in this room." Camilla said, practically groaning out the words to such an 'obvious' question.

Diana gestured towards the blank-faced body on the couch.

"And how would you describe that." Diana said.

"That's nobody." Camilla said automatically.

"What do you mean?" Tom said, now inching closer to Camilla. She took a step back, slightly freaked out.

"It's no one. It's just... That's... It's just NO ONE! Sorry Tom, but is this some weird game you and your wife are playing?" Camilla said.

"See! She doesn't even register it as human. Her brain is actively trying to ignore its presence. Look at her face while we're talking about this Tom." Diana said the excitement no longer contained as she rushed over to her new husband and pressed up against him possessively.

Tom looked at Camilla whose gaze was almost as glassy-eyed as his former wife.

Diana was right. Tom looked at her, and she had a big goofy grin plastered on her face, that only left when she leaned up her face to kiss him.

"Sorry I zoned out. What were we doing Dr. Kahn?" Camilla said shaking her head.

"Nothing dear. I was just settling a little disagreement my husband and I were having about something insignifcant. You were very helpful, you can leave now." Diana said, but as Camilla turned to leave added. "Oh and cancel the rest of my meetings for the day. I need to take some time off to 'reacquaint' myself with my family."

Tom could hear the groan from Camilla as she closed the door behind her.

Diana quickly detached herself from her new husband to stick her hands on her cocked hips to make an equally sexy and triumphant pose.

"See?! Told you so. God I always love saying that. Maybe Dr. Kahn's memories aren't making me as 'evolved' as I want to think." Diana said sticking out her tongue in a playful tease.

Tom just sighed and smiled. Diana really did know how to set him at ease. Even when the foundations of his understanding of the world were crumpled around him he was thankful he had his wife. Somehow it was easier looking at her personality coming out of a different face, or maybe it was all this new experience and the new personality driving Diana. Maybe Dr. Kahn's influence really was helping Diana be less bitter, or maybe it was easier to let go of old baggage when confronted with the personality of his wife in this luscious new wrapper.

Tom wrapped his hands around Diana's soft waist. He relished the feelings of her wool dress against his fingers almost as much as the feeling of her perky new breasts pressed against his torso.

"Okay, you were right. I think I'm even starting to warm up to this new version of my wife." He said.

"Oh I can feel just how warm you're getting there Tom." Diana said letting her fingers brush against the crotch of his jeans as she ran her hand over his body.

"So are you ready to give your old body the Dr. Kahn personality?" Tom said, starting to get into the foreplay his wife had initiated.

Suddenly the new Diana's body tensed and her face shifted. Tom could read something behind her eyes, but it was hard to say exactly what it was. Consternation? Guilt? Fear? Excitement?

"About that..." Diana said.

What is Diana trying to tell Tom?
