Chapter 14 by lightsout lightsout

What's next for Naruto?

He has some Questions for Fūka's

Fūka's fingers lingered on his chest, tracing lazy circles that sent faint aftershocks through his skin, her touch a gentle reminder of the fire they'd just shared. The room held the quiet hum of their slowing breaths, the scent of sweat and intimacy hanging heavy in the air like a shared secret. Naruto shifted slightly beneath her, propping himself on an elbow to meet those vivid blue eyes, still hazy with satisfaction.

Curiosity tugged at him amid the haze, pulling his thoughts back to the enigma she'd been before his words reshaped her. "Fūka," he started, voice rough from the moans she'd drawn out earlier, "tell me about those bodies of yours. The five you had—each with different elements, right? You could only switch between them one at a time?"

She stretched languidly against him, her body arching in a way that pressed her curves flush once more, a soft hum escaping her lips. Maroon hair spilled over the pillow like spilled wine, framing her face as she tilted her head, considering. "Mmm, yeah. My consciousness stays in my hair—it's the anchor. The bodies? They're vessels, each tuned to a single nature: wind, fire, water, lightning, earth. But only one active at a time. Switching meant shedding the old like a snake's skin, pulling my essence into the next. Handy in a fight, kept enemies guessing."

Her hand drifted lower, nails grazing his hip absently, the contact sparking a low warmth despite the recent release. He felt her shift, legs tangling with his under the rumpled sheets, her skin still slick and inviting.

"And the taijutsu?" Naruto pressed, recalling the blur of her assaults in their past clashes. "You were no slouch there—knocking me around like it was nothing."

A sly grin curved her mouth, eyes sparkling with a mix of pride and mischief. "From all those ninja I've... acquired over the years. Their chakra, their skills, folded into mine. But yeah, if a body got wrecked, poof—gone forever, along with whatever it held. That's why I tried for yours back then. Fresh vessel, strong chakra. **** times."

The admission hung between them, but without the old malice; now it felt like a confession shared in the vulnerability of bare skin and tangled limbs. She rolled onto her side, facing him fully, one leg draping over his thigh in casual possession, the heat of her core brushing teasingly close again.

He mulled it over, the mechanics unfolding in his mind like a puzzle begging to be tweaked. "What if you could handle all five at once? Control them simultaneously, be in five places, fighting or scouting or whatever. Wouldn't that make you unstoppable?"

Fūka's brows arched, intrigue lighting her features as she propped her chin on her hand, elbow sinking into the mattress. Her free fingers walked up his arm, tracing the lines of muscle with feather-light pressure that raised goosebumps. "All five? At the same time?" She let out a low, throaty laugh, the sound vibrating through her chest and into him where they touched. "God, imagine it—me multiplied, each body wielding its element without waiting for a swap. I'd be a one-woman army, splitting focus like threads in a web. But it'd take a hell of a lot more chakra control, splitting my mind without fracturing it. Tempting, though... very tempting."

Her gaze turned heated again, not just from the idea but from the proximity, lips parting slightly as if tasting the possibility on the air. The sheet slipped lower, exposing the swell of her hip, and she didn't bother pulling it back, letting the exposure add to the intimacy of the moment.

Will Naruto explore the idea?
