He gets involved... Again.

"Did you think we'd let beating up our friends go?" one of the thugs was growling at the girl they had surrounded.

"Ah! You're with the guys I turned in to the royal guard!" the girl realized, pounding a fist into her palm. She then crossed her arms and gave the speaker a stern look. "The fault lies with you. It's recompense for drinking and running amok in the early hours of the afternoon."

"Shut up, you bitch!" one of the men roared as they charged her. "Get her!" She clearly wasn't helpless however, as without even needing to draw her blade, she started knocking the men around, moving with an incredible amount of grace, and judo flipping one of them. It looked like they had the sense to stop after a few of their fellows had gone down, and she relaxed her stance... But one man tried to get the drop on her from behind with his sword brandished.

"Watch out!" Touya shouted, before casting one of his new spells, Blind Sand, at the assailant.

"Argh!" the man yelled as the sand got in his eyes.

"Ah jeez, you HAD to stick your nose into trouble, didn't you?" Elize yelled as she clocked another thug. A couple of minutes later, all of them were laid on the ground, groaning in pain.

"Whew! Thank you for helping me out!" the girl cheerfully said as they relaxed. "I should introduce myself. I am called Kokonoe Yae." Then she paused as if remembering something, and continued, "Oh, and to clarify, Yae is my name, and Kokonoe is my family name."

'Deja vu,' Touya thought in an amused manner, while looking Yae over. She was definitely a hottie. Maybe a dalliance with the Note wouldn't be out of line... Jeez, having that thing was making him perverted...
