Getting to know Yae.

"So, you are from Ishen then?" Touya asked.

"Yes!" Yae said brightly. "I am from Oedo in Ishen."

"I see," Touya replied. "Did you get hurt anywhere during that scuffle?" he asked her.

"Um, no, I am unhurt," Yae said. Then her stomach audibly growled. "Although... This is embarrassing to admit, but I've lost my travel funds on the way here..." she blushed.

"Well, good timing, it's lunch time anyway!" Linze remarked. "Let's find that inn! You can come along Yae!"

"Eh? No! I couldn't accept such charity from someone I only just met!" she protested, though clearly tempted.

"Don't think of it as charity then. We'd like to know a bit more about you and Ishen, so we can call it an even trade!" Touya suggested.

"Oh... Okay!" she accepted after a bit of consideration.

'Too easy,' he mentally smirked. 'She seems a bit naive... Maybe I could play into that with the Note...'

They reached the inn and booked a day, before being served lunch. As this occured, Yae talked a bit about herself. Apparently, she was traveling to improve her martial arts and combat skills, to follow in the footsteps of her family, particularly her older brother. Touya listened with interest... Though he was slightly put off by the fact that she was eating and talking at the same time... And eating a lot...
