He doesn’t, because Thomas also hasn’t seen Extracurricular yet

“I’m good man. Snuggling in sounds a lot better than having a walk in that weather. You have fun though”, Thomas gave Chris a playful finger pistol.

“Douche. If I get lost out there, be sure to tell my family you had it nice and cozy while I died in the wilderness”, Chris said with his usual snark.

“It’s basically Smallville outside with about a dozen trees around, two dozen tops. So quit whining”, Thomas moved past Chris, “Besides, I’ll be too busy flirting with your mom to hold a eulogy.”

Chris gasped and his half honest attempt to hit Thomas only met the air, as his friend had already moved an extra step in preparation.

“Too slow”, Thomas turned fully and chuckled as he moved down the corridor. He heard Chris mumbling something under his breath before leaving, but didn’t pay it any mind.

Chris was always a heavy hitter when it came to making fun of each other, it was rare that anyone got the final word other than him. So Thomas was mighty proud of winning a battle of the wits for once.

Walking through the house, Thomas mused on what Grace was doing right now. His girlfriend seemed to be in one of her nymphomanic phases again, Chris wanted to walk through the cold nothingness that was Camelot by night and Thomas family…. Well, Thomas just wasn’t in the mood for some family time. Especially with his granny being in her “I haven’t seen my little boy in forever”-mood. But hanging out with Grace and watching some Extracurricular sounded like a fun evening.

Thomas had started it some time, but really didn’t get into it. But binge watching it with a friend would be the push the show needs. He walked over to the guest room and quietly heard the show running. He knocked twice and in a fluent motion opened the door.

“Hey Grace-”, Thomas started and looked into the semi-darkness of the room.

All the lights were out and only the TV was illuminating the ruffly ball of blankets on the bed. From among countless intertwined blankets, Thomas managed to make out two almost hidden eyes when a voice made itself heard from that direction.

“Yeah?”, the voice on TV abruptly stopped, as if by magic.

“Chris told me that you’re blasting through Extracurricular, you mind if I join you?”

“Sure”, like a snail the ball of blankets moved from the center to one side of the bed and made room for him. Thomas grabbed a hand full of chips from the bedside table, on which a collection of snacks was assembled, and took a seat on the bed beside Grace.

She was still pretty early on in the series, so Thomas recognized what he had seen on his first try with the series. It wasn’t hard to get either way. The Korean teen drama wasn’t overly complex, but teen dramas of any kind were a bit of a guilty pleasure for Thomas. His many hours poured into Riverdale were the best example for that. But the best part was usually talking and “ironically” arguing about it with other fans. Was Grace really invested or was she an ironic-watcher as well? Also it was getting a little chilly sitting uncovered while next to you sat a heating pile of fabric. So maybe Grace could part from one or two blankets or at least share them?
