He does not

"I don't care for your body..." He shoves you away, hard, with one of his clawed appendages. You nearly trip over your feet before falling back against Aegis. "Only care for my eggss. Your belly is filled with sspawn already. Don't need two sslutss, only one that can breed.

Anger is welling up in you now. You're not sure if its because your plan didn't work or because he doesn't "care for your body" as he so delicately put it. Oddly, being called a slut doesn't register.

"You're making a big mistake," you growl at him and right yourself. "Lord Thoros will be..."

"Lord Thoross will know nothing of this." He hisses and cuts you off. He chitters something and crawls back up the tree he came from with alarming speed.

Whatever he said has his pet spiders agitated again. This is not good. There's... maybe a dozen of the monstrous arachnids all around you, and you're pretty sure he's instructed them to make sure you never get back to the demon lord. So much for bluffing.

You consider giving Aegis a sharp slap with the flat of your blade to encourage him to run off. Your pragmatic side reasons that he might draw away a few of the spiders, giving you less to deal with, but you're also concerned for the beast. You're likely to die here, and there's no reason for him to share that fate if he can escape.

Then again, he is a trained war horse and could probably stomp the life out of at least a few of the creatures. If nothing else, fighting with the beast at your back means that's one angle you don't have to protect.

The attack is imminent. Do you send off your mount or commit him to the fight?
