He does! He had somewhere to be after all!

While he did have a little time to walk about, his ultimate destination was Yongen-Jaya. So he boarded a subway train and made his way over.

He found himself walking the back streets, of Yongen, before eventually reaching his ultimate destination: The Takemi Medical Clinic. As he entered, he saw Tae Takemi standing in the doorway to the exam room, with a boy walking out. The boy had black hair and glasses, wearing a Shujin jacket, but seemingly trying his hardest to hide his face. It was definitely strange, but Kaito wasn't worried.

"Hey Tae!" he said with a smile. Takemi looked up at him and rolled her eyes, but had a small smile on her lips.

"Oh boy. Why are you here?" she huffed, with a bit of a playful tone.

"I had an appointment with you today, don't you remember?"

"I was trying very hard to forget" she smirked, before turning and walking back into the exam room. "Well. Come in."

Kaito nodded and followed behind her.

Tae Takemi. A woman he attended university with. Of course, they were studying different fields - psychology and medical - but they did have some classes that overlapped, and had become good friends over that time.

Kaito sat down in the exam room across from Takemi.

"So. How's it going? Feeling any better with your ironic health issue?" Takemi prodded.

Kaito had been dealing with a little insomnia, funny enough. But he just couldn't get anyone to prescribe him any medication. Just relaxation techniques - as if he, a trained hypnotist, hadn't already tried that. That's when he remembered Takemi had opened her clinic here.

"Yeah, actually. Those meds helped a lot." he replied. "Though last time you suggested I not take them for a bit to see if this insomnia was gonna be a recurring problem and... well, as soon as I stopped taking the meds, it came back."

"Hm. Got it. So you'll need more medication." Takemi nodded, taking down notes.

"Yeah, if you don't mind. And of course, 'When the meds are for me'..." he began.

Takemi's expression went blank for just a moment.

"...they're payment free." she droned in response, before shaking herself out of it.

Back in college, he had hypnotized Takemi a few times. Even back then she was experimenting with her own home made remedies. Unfortunately for him, it was VERY hard to get her to do... basically anything while she was hypnotized. Getting that single trigger into her was like pulling teeth. And any time he brought up hypnosis - even if he wasn't asking to hypnotize her - she would reply with a single response: "No"

At this point he wished he had put in an "I want to be hypnotized" trigger instead of a trigger for free medicine.

Takemi reached into her cabinet and tossed him a bottle of pills.

"Same deal as last time. Lower dosage this time though. I still wanna see if we can slowly get you back to normal. Let me know if they don't work, or aren't working as well. We'll follow up again next week." she sighed.

Kaito nodded, before looking up at her questioningly.

"Out of curiosity--"

"No" she said bluntly.

"I wasn't gonna ask about hypnosis" he grumbled "I was gonna ask why you're open on Sundays now."

Takemi crossed her arms.

"I have some patients who need a little more attention and... discretion. And that's all I'll say about that. Special consultations only, and only for three hours." she stated pointedly.

"I'm glad I'm a special consultation" he joked. Takemi glared at him.

"But not special enough to keep taking up my time. So if there's nothing else?"
