He decides to call up Zatanna!

After having breakfast, Felix headed back to his laptop, leaving on the charger as he turned it back on. After getting it started back up, he proceeded to open up the courses for it once again. He spent several hours, just killing a little time until he reached a decent stopping point.

"...yeesh, never realized just how... Dull life alone was until I got such an eager sexual partner," he sighed as he laid back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. "...you know what? Screw it..."

He dug out his phone, and quickly scrolled through his contacts to call Zatanna. She picked up on the third ring. "Heh, knew you couldn't resist," Zatanna noted teasingly as the like connected. "Let me guess, Diana has already spoiled you, eh?"

"Guilty as charged. Are you available right now?" he asked with an amused chuckle.

"Not immediately. I will be in an hour though. I'm about to start work on a time sensitive ritual. Sorry, the deets are classified. I'll teleport to your place as soon as I get it done," she replied.

"Well, okay then," Felix replied. "Guess I'll study some more until then, and maybe prep some lunch for us about ten minutes before your ETA. Sorry if it isn't much, I'm still job hunting, even if I got sidetracked for a bit. My savings can only last so long."

"Really? The League didn't tell you that you are on our payroll now?" Zatanna asked curiously.

"...payroll?" Felix asked.

"Yeah, given your access to Diana's new magic, the fact that you already are using it to benefit the League, as Oracle can attest to, and the fact that you are essentially a probationary member, you'll be getting a small sum added to your accounts weekly," she replied.

"...huh," Felix remarked, and hung up after confirming the time she would come with her.
