Felix for now. And he gets to meet another League member!

Sunlight filtered into the bedroom the next morning, making Felix stir and slowly wake up, his new laptop open with a dead battery resting in his lap. "Ah, dang, I must have drifted off to sleep while studying," he rubbed the back of his head as he closed the laptop, and put it on the charger.

He got up and stretched, gazing at the empty part of the bed that would have had Diana in it, had it not been for the fact that duty called. Honestly, were it not for the golden lamp sitting on his bedside table, and the brand new laptop, he would have considered the previous day's events to just be a rather pleasant dream.

He checked his phone, and found a text waiting for him. The number was unknown, but it carried a request to call them. He dialed the number, and held the phone up to his ear. "This is Felix," he stated as the call was answered.

A woman's voice answered. "Hello, Mr. Andersmith. Let's cut to the chase, shall we? I've heard some interesting things about you. Such as the fact that the League is looking to train you into becoming our therapist, due to your unique talents."

"...that's more or less the truth, though Batman also wants me capable of holding my own in combat," Felix noted.

"Of course he would. While all indications point to you being trustworthy, you also have something many would covet, given Diana's recent... changes," she replied. "Not to mention the fact that if you do end up as the League's therapist, you'll be trusted with many of our deepest secrets... and keeping said secrets out of Batman's hands, so he doesn't cross the line by using any of them in any of his contingency plans."

"...so, who exactly are you? Someone important, or expected to interact with me a lot, I suppose, given you seem privy to the facts about Diana," Felix noted.

"Oh, that's right, I haven't introduced myself, I'm Black Canary, the current stand in for giving therapy to members of the League. Unfortunately, I lack a doctorate in the field, so I'm mostly just there to listen and give the best advice and life experience I can to them," she replied. "Given you actually are likely to be studying it more than I was able to, I hope you'll be able to provide better counseling than I can when you're ready."

"I see. Would you like to meet with me at some point to discuss how we might make this transition smoother?"

"Of course. Though I imagine you might like to involve Diana in the conversation?" Black Canary suggested.

"Why?" Felix asked.

"Because given her new nature, she may well help with couple's counseling within the League too," she replied.

"Ah. Then we can arrange a meeting when she returns," he nodded. They exchanged a few details, before he hung up, a bit pleased with how his life was going.
