He brings Katie in

Mark decided to bring Katie in, and with time frozen, made his way to the gym, where he knew she would be. Since everyone was in class, except for a few stragglers like himself who had a free period, the halls were easy to navigate with time frozen. Eventually he makes it to the gym, and enters it.

Looking around, all the students seem to be inside sitting on the bleachers, changed into their gym outfits. The gym coach was standing off tot he side, looking a Clipboard.

Wading through the frozen teens, Mark soon finds Katie sitting near the top bleacher, talking to a Brown eyed Honey Blonde he knew as Danica.

“O.K, how do I do this?” Mark asked loud to know one. “I know I froze Phoebe by saying her name and stop, so maybe if I say Katie’s name and Start….”

“I mean I swing both ways, and he is cute….” Katie suddenly said, coming back to life.

“Katie!” Mark called out.

Katie turned away from Danica, not noticing the girl was frozen. “Mark? What are you doing here?”

“I uhhh….. I guess testing something.”

“Testing what?” Katie asked, raising her eyebrows.

“Well….. look around you.”

Katie looked around her, just now noticing no one was moving.

“Mark, what did you do?”

“I uhhhh…. I think have the power to control time.”

Katie blinked a couple of times. “Normally I would call you crazy, but seeing this….. wow.”

“Yeah, I uhhh, I also may have frozen Phoebe Page in time individually”, Mark admitted sheepishly.

“You did what?” Katie asked bewildered.

“Froze Phoebe Page in time because she was going to get me in trouble and hid her in my locker, and turned her eventually in a doll. I now need to freeze her best friend as well so as to cover my tracks.”

Katie simply stared at Mark. “That’s ummm….. that is certainly an explanation.”

“I also don’t have any room left in my locker, and need to store her friend in yours.”

Katie simply rolled her eyes, more annoyed than anything. “Sure I guess.”

Mark was surprised Katie was taking this so well. “Really? Your not freaked out by all of this?”

“Oh I am, and we are going to talk about this later, but your my best friend, and I am going to help. Plus frozen people is pretty hot, or cold, I’m not sure on the correct terminology.”

Mark sighed in relief. “Oh thank you Katie, you don’t know how much of a relief this is to me.”

“No problem”, Katie said, getting up from the bleacher. “Which one of her friends were you also thinking of freezing?”

Mark was confused. “She has more than one? I just thought it was just Dawn.”

Katie rolled her eyes. “Good thing you came to me since you apparently don’t pay attention to social hierarchy in this school. Phoebe Page is bets friends with not just Dawn Chavez, but a girl named Gabrielle Borbon. All three share everything together, and if you need to tie up a loose end, you will need to take all three.”

“Katie I could kiss you.”

“Maybe I’ll take you on that offer later. For now, we got some girls to freeze.”

With that, Katie walked down to Mark and the two headed off to find their targets.
