In a rush of excitement, you slip the Rulebook back into view and pick the pencil out from between its pages.

"Actually, it'd be really helpful if you modeled one of these for me," you say, scribbling in the pages.

Wren frowns. "Excuse me? Listen buddy, I'll go ahead and do you a favor by pretending you -"

OLD RULE: It is accepted that clothing stores, especially those that cater to petite women, typically accommodate their customers' disdain for clothes shopping by employing thera clerks who double as on demand in-store clothing models.

The world shimmers, and Wren finishes her sentence. "- want me to slip on first?" she asks, with a light, professional smile.

When the shimmer runs through Wren, her jeans and uniform black polo disappear. For a second, you think she's been left naked, but then your brain registers her new outfit.

The cute Asian clerk is left standing beside you in a flesh-colored shift that leaves her arms and legs bare - her nametag is pinned above the breast in the same place as before. Her shoes have been replaced by a pair of no-show ankle socks, with slightly textured grips on the bottom.

It's a distinct look to say the least. It's hard to keep your eyes off the clerk's bare legs. Your face heats. You swallow, barely managing to contain your excitement.

You point to the swimwear. "I'm really curious how that would look on you. I mean, on Ris."

Wren smooths over your lapse of words with a laugh. "Don't worry, I get paid extra for this," she says, picking up the black swimsuit outfit and turning to walk away.

Your heart lurches in dismay that Wren's not about to change in front of you - quickly, you set pencil to paper and amend the rule.
