Harriet Wins

It quickly became clear that they were doing a better job at their win condition than Carmelita. The only saving grace was Jennifer.

She quickly coordinated the platoon's efforts and soon they'd knocked out their opposing number. That allowed them to move out and in true UCA fashion slam into the flank of one of the others.

Unfortunately they'd been taking damage the entire time and in the end they simply didn't have enough to overcome the almost fresh final platoon of the enemy. As a shot took her down, less powerful than a full battle charge, Carmelita sat against a tree.

She had a feeling it was over.

Funnily enough their flanking attack had actually managed to knock out the part of the **** Harriet was attached to. Despite the emphasis on realism it would have been counterproductive to have everyone knocked out for several hours and as such the lower levels of charge allowed everyone to rouse themselves and get up much sooner.

There was a nervous anticipation in the air. Technically nothing was binding. Carmelita could simply decide to walk away now and pretend that there had been nothing between her and Harriet Wagner. She could go home and start a family with some random **** or one of the hundreds of other women who messaged her daily hoping for a chance at her hand.

She went and found where Emily and Jennifer had gone down both of them having likewise returned to their senses.

"-any to spare?" Emily was asking.

"You want them?" Jennifer replied

"I need some time off and my parents have been hounding me for a grandkid that I keep. If I'm going to be left a drooling cum-filled mess I might as well make sure it takes the first time."

"Oh! Carmelita, didn't see you there." Jennifer said, clearly glad to change the subject. "Are you… OK?"

"I feel like I've been punched in the gut, kicked in the teeth and left for dead in an arid desert. I've just lost everything I've ever known." Carmelita replied honestly. "In other words, this is the happiest day of my life."
