Hard work pays off

Alexandra worked hard to fix the problems her husband caused, he was dismissed from the board of directors, and she took over his responsibilities. The company was stable enough to wait for her inheritance to cover the debts. A week passed from the ritual which she doesn't even remember as her time is fully occupied with making sure everything goes according to the schedule.

She finally rests on her chair, satisfied with her work. Alexandra looks at the divorce papers that she prepared for her husband. There is no doubt about the property division, their prenup clearly stated that she would get everything, and Max will only get what was brought in his name. Though, her marriage's end was not so easy to deal with. She still has mixed feelings about it, Max was the love of her life, but he was also a disaster.

Their daughter, Venus, would be heavily impacted by the divorce, Alexandra knew that she was so devoted to the college and such shock would screw it all.

Alexandra chose to wait and see if her marriage can be saved, but her feelings toward him are slowly turning cold.
