Chapter 23 by Ggnt Ggnt

What's next?

Happily Ever After

Emma was filled with nervous energy. She couldn't believe it was finally here. There were times in her life when she assumed it would never happen and yet here she was.

Of course it was nothing like she's imagined as a little girl. There was no Church involved, her attire was anything but conventional and the person waiting for her wasn't a man at all. Emma smiled, she imagined Natsumi was having much the same thought.

They had been talking about this day for some time now. They both knew it wouldn't be traditional, but Emma was still surprised at where they'd ended up. Emma had chosen a white skirt and jacket with a blue vest and bowtie. To anyone else in the garden it might just be a trendy outfit, but to her it was far more special.

She heard the music start and she turned to her dad, "Ok. I'm ready."

He offered his arm and they started walking through the garden. As they turned the corner Emma finally saw her and her breath caught in her chest. She was so beautiful. When they'd discussed the wedding she was ready to accept that Natsumi might want to wear a tux or even get married with a more masculine appearance so imagine her surprise when she insisted on THAT outfit.

Natsumi turned her head and smiled at Emma. Emma couldn't believe her luck. These last few years had been like a dream. Her best friend suddenly turned into her dream woman, and then magically gave her total control and fulfilled all her fantasies. And then just when things seemed bad she got a promotion and the amazing opportunity to advance her career in Japan. And then she'd done so well in Japan that they'd promoted her again and sent her here, to Vancouver. It wasn't Japan or the US, they were both immigrants here. More importantly though unlike Japan same sex marriage was legal.

She finally reached Natsumi and hugged her dad. Then she turned to her fiancee and smiled. It was a simple ceremony. Just her parents, an officiant, and one attendant each. But it was perfect.

Emma could barely pay attention as the officiant spoke. She just kept staring at her beautiful bride. Finally she heard the words she'd been waiting for, "...By the power vested in me, I am honored to pronounce you partners in life, equal in love and in commitment. You may now seal your vows with a kiss. Congratulations, and may your journey together be filled with endless joy, growth, and love."

They kissed and all was right in the world.

Natsumi looked over at her wife, sleeping peacefully beside her. She didn't know how she did it, Natsumi could never fall asleep on a plane. She gently held Emma's hand, careful not to wake her. Then she looked out the window, not that she could much beside the clouds below.

She couldn't believe she was married. She's never have imagined it, not the way things happened at least. She was lucky that it was Emma she'd set her sights on all those years ago. If she'd wished to be someone else's ideal partner...well as strange as it was she was happy to have given up her old life for this one. She couldn't imagine spending it with anyone else.

She'd used their time in Japan to discover just who Natsumi Komi was. She certainly wasn't Lyle, but she wasn't just a figment of Emma's fantasies either. While Emma had been had at work Natsumi had explored Tokyo, and herself. When she finally launched her own studio the art she made wasn't because of a wish, it was an outpouring of her own soul. She didn't become successful overnight, and she's never have managed without Emma's support, but she found a place for herself in Tokyo's art scene.

When Emma got the offer to move back to North America she'd been nervous. Her job already dominated their lives and her hours were insane. They barely had time to see each other, let alone play the kind of games Emma's magic allowed. It turned out to be an unfounded fear. Despite having far more responsibility in Canada, Emma actually worked far less. Enough that they were finally able to plan their wedding, simple as it was, and take this honeymoon.

She looked down at herself and shook her head. She'd have to remind Emma to fix her before they got off the plane. She'd given the order for her to grow one cup size every time they passed a new time zone. Not that Natsumi knew when that was but obviously her body did because her top was stretched to bursting. At least Emma had refused to let her wear a bra or she'd be in some real pain right about now. After all Paris was a long way from Vancouver.

"This is your captain speaking. We are now beginning our descent. Local time is 7:54 and we should be on the ground in about 45 minutes. Thank you for flying with us."

"Huh what?" Emma bolted upright as the announcement woke her.

Natsumi giggled, then pointed to her chest.

Emma grinned and shook her head, "Nope. Instead how about I just strengthen your body so you have no problem walking around with those melons."

Natsumi crossed her arms over her chest and shook her head.

"Hmm...ok. You may speak and if you tell I'm a slut really loud I'll shrink them."

"What? You're crazy! You really want your wife to say that in public?"

"Of course not. I just know you won't."

Natsumi growled. Well...she was right. "Ok. Well you have to shrink them before we go through customs or I won't match my passport."

"Your passport photo is of your tits?" Emma asked sneakily, "But fine. I'll shrink them to...oh...an H cup. But as a trade off you'll cum every time you speak English."

"What?" Natsumi spoke without thinking and gripped the armrest as she came. She switched to Japanese to argue with Emma further but Emma wouldn't budge. Oh well, Natsumi might sound angry but she was used to these games now. Emma always knew exactly how far to push her without going overboard. After all she was her wife and they trusted each other completely.

Besides Natsumi had a surprise for Emma. As preparation for their honeymoon she'd been secretly learning French. She wouldn't need to speak any English at customs...

"Bonjour. Je m'appelle..."

The border guard sighed, "It's alright. I speak very good English."

Natsumi blushed, "...Mais je parle..."

"English please miss. There's a line behind you."

Oh, maybe her French wasn't as polished as she thought. Beside her Emma giggled, "Excuse my wife. She was trying really hard. Here's our passports..."

She didn't get away without saying anything, but Emma didn't let her get too embarrassed. Then they were through security and off to their hotel. Natsumi held her wife's hand. Despite everything the magic lamp changed she was truly happy with her life, she wouldn't dream of it any other way.

*End of Branch*
