Chapter 5 by TeratonArm

Which moveset should you take?

Gunner Moveset

None of these options really speak to you more than the others; you aren't prone to physically fighting in any form! Keeping that in mind, at least you go for the option that involves the least physicality: the Gunner. You reach out to the Gunner trophy, and pull back with a start as it disappears in a burst of sparkling light, the two others fading back into the darkness. Those sparkles linger in the air, floating over to you and coalescing around your arm, into the same futuristic firearm the statue was wielding, a near perfect cylinder of shiny gray metal and glowing blue light. With a flex of your arm it flashes into light and disappears; you do it again, and it comes back, fitting perfectly onto your arm, even over your sweatshirt. It would almost be cool, if the whole situation wasn't kind of terrifying. Speaking of terrifying, the red text pops back into view in front of your eyes.

"YOUR CHOICE HAS BEEN MADE. THE STAGE HAS BEEN SET, THE FIGHTERS FULLY PREPARED AND, FOR THE MOMENT, FULLY CLOTHES. LET YOUR JOURNEY THROUGH THE WORLD OF LIGHT...BEGIN!"

"Wait, is that it? I still have question! Hang on, I--" your words are cut off with an embarrassing scream as, in the dark void, a point of light appears and immediately bursts into a full beam of light hurtling straight towards you, ala the beams released by Galeem in the World of Light opening cutscene. Before it can connect, the darkness opens up, still air replaced with rushing wind as you look down and see a massive, multicolored expanse below you. Far below you. Far enough that you are able to scream yourself hoarse before the ground even looks all that much closer. But something comes out of the blue: a cartoonish yellow star, as big as your body, comes straight at you and catches you, starting a no less fast and terrifying but much more controlled and survivable descent.

"Guess you can call me Kirby," you mutter, noting it is in fact Kirby's Warp Star come to rescue you, having replaced the pink puffball as the game mode's starting character. "So how do I steer this thing...?" you wonder, not receiving an answer, and you don't know if any of your tilting to one side or the other has an effect on it's final destination, which you can see and, what's more, recognize as you make your approach.

Where are you going?
