Guerilla tactics might be the best method to do this.

Thinking over the situation there is no need to try and test a spell you haven't used before and going in guns blazing seems reckless with the unknown demoness sleeping by the fire. For all you know it could be a trap. You are already using your cloak of shadows best to make the most of it. You had picked the assassin class for a reason after all.

Your plan decided you aim your fingers at the orc closest to you and that you have the cleanest shot on. With a mutter of light bullet you let loose a burst the burst of light energy and only pause long enough to make sure you made clean contact with the orcs' head before you are rushing away from your spot. Circling around the other orcs, you hear their squeals of surprise and rage as they come to full awareness as the body of their comrade falls to the ground with a thud. You pause about halfway around the clearing from where you begin and line up another shot. You want to target the demoness next as she is still getting up but you don't have a clean shot as the orcs crowd around their mistress. You fire another light bullet and curse as the orc moves and the bullet strikes and explodes against their arm instead of their chest like you had intended. The power of your light bullet with the boost provided by the elemental infusion that you had chosen still renders that orcs arm useless now but the other orc had apparently noticed where the shot had come from and charges toward your current position. Not that you were going to stay in this spot anyways and you are already moving again. this time you don't stop as you send another light bullet toward the wounded orc. The light bullet is intercepted by a shield of magical energy that shatters when it makes impact with it but the injured orc is still alive.

The demoness was fully awake now and like you had thought she was apparently a magic user. You wished you had taken the time to find out how to check your repertoire of spells to see what all you had available and resolved to figure out how to find that out. Regardless you still had the advantage here as even as the demoness threw a fireball at where your last shot had come from. You were long gone from it as you aimed another shot and fired at the demoness again. She must have seen the flash of light your attack caused though instead of forming another shield she jumped out of the way. You weren't really surprised by it but by moving in a circle her evasion had left the injured orc struggling to stand up to take the shot to the back. The creature gave a pitiful cry as it collapsed to the ground from the damage.

"What are you doing you idiot!" The demoness shouted at the other orc that was rampaging in the forest where you had first started your attack. "Get back over here and defend me!" she ordered even as she made another shield to stop another light bullet. the shield shattered again causing her to stumble back but her shout had caught the last standing orcs attention and it quickly turned and lumbered back toward its mistress. The demoness summoned another fireball and threw it at towards the trees where she had last seen you attack from before she threw another one ahead of your current path. Looks like she wanted to try and box you in. Smart of her but the stones trees weren't catching fire and the range of the fireballs didn't seem to be very large which made it easy to get around them. Still you decided to turn and reverse direction. Still staying in the shadow of the stone trees you paused and saw the demoness standing near her fire with her final orc standing just in front of her. She seemed to be breathing a bit heavy but you doubted it meant she wasn't able to launch more fireballs.

"Coward!" She yelled out. " Step out and face me directly."

Did she really think that you were going to do that? You shook your head and launched another light bullet at her. It missed her by a hair but she turned toward you and even though she couldn't see you she pointed in your direction. "They're over there. Go get them!"

Her orc charged in your direction without any hesitation. If the other two orcs were still active you would probably start circling again but with only a single orc charging recklessly at you you decided to just step out from behind the tree making sure that the orc was in between you and the demoness. Holding up both hands in the shape of guns you felt your light magic gather at the tips of your fingers.

"Dual light bullet." you said as the orc just about reached the tree line. The dual orbs of light flew forward directly into the orcs' chest. The orbs exploded and blew the orc back. It fell to the ground with two holes in its chest. Lowering your hands and looked toward where the demoness had been only to see her fleeing toward the tree line on the opposite side. You see her run and think that you could probably catch her but you were feeling a bit tired from the running and the multiple uses of magic which you weren't really used to yet. Still she could provide information about the realm of Apollyon and information on the main world. Or you could just wait and find someone else in the human world to answer your questions. What to do?
