Chapter 2
Which objects/ power does Makoto acquire
Group control
This book appears as an thin A4 sized notebook with a white cover and with the words, 'laws are the foundation to any society' written on the cover. Opening the book will reveal that the book has far more pages than its thin size would imply though this number is not infinite. Rather, new pages are simply created when the owner of the book needs it.
The book's power is the ability to impose laws or norms upon any group of people and cause them to follow it without question. This can range from a small group of friends to the entire human race. To do this, the owner must write the words '[Group name] new Norm/Law' followed by whatever Norm or Law they wish to implement. This law or Norm than goes into effect, while it doesn't change physical media it changes memory and mindset. This will make it so all members of the group automatically assume the norm has always been there and not question it. Outsiders will react to whatever is happening as it were an odd peculiarity, an odd gimmick of a group.
The group name could be any name the group possesses formally or informally. For instance, if you wanted to affect all of the friends of a man named peter, you would list peter's friends as the group's name and the book will work as intended. Of course you could give the name of a company to affect all employees or the name of a country to affect all the people in that country.
What happens when the book drops into Makoto's life?
