Chapter 10 by Yabusa Yabusa

What does the team of ghosts do to your girlfriend?

Greatest hits

Your girlfriend spasmed and twitched, resting her hand against the wall to steady herself. You flipped on the lights to get a better look at her, climbing out of bed to steady her at her waist.

The woman who turned to you, smiling wide, was unrecognizable. Unrecognizable, but profoundly beautiful! It was hard to explain the mixture of features that had taken over the body before you, but Jane was merely the frame upon which the ghosts had made their masterpiece.

You tried to understand the mixture of features, realizing that you were looking at a combination of a half-dozen girls all in one. The easiest features to understand were right before you--her left eye was green like Jan's, and her right eye was Samantha's ocean blue. Her hair, which somehow found itself in Jan's loose braid, was closer to brown than auburn, but with blonde highlights, accounting for each hair color in the mix.

Beyond that, the features were much more subtle, except that every single one was somehow adjusted. Mary's ears? Denise's nose? Molly's lips? Rebecca's eyebrows? Jan's jawline? You honestly weren't sure how everything fit together, except that they fit together in this flawless face that completely mesmerized you.

You stumbled back in shot, looking next down at Jane's newly-sculpted body. It was another carefully balanced masterpiece, mixing the toned and athletic features like the tummy and legs of Jan, Sam, and Molly with the soft, shapely features of Jane mixed with her mother and Denise, somehow mixing a mature, MILF-like structure with youthful pep of Molly and Mary. Those breasts, as well, those were definitely Jane's mother's size, contained in Jane's skin. She should have been an incredible contradiction, mixing features from very different women, and yet the result stunned you for the longest time, giving this mystery woman some time to come to terms with her own self.

"...who are you? Who am I talking to now?"

"I'm not really anyone..." the strange woman said, with a smile that felt kind, motherly, and full of mischief all together. How do you even characterize something like that? Like a kindergarten teacher about to tell a joke? What in the world was this woman's deal..?

"You know there's no way I can accept an answer like that," you said, taking another step back.

The woman touched her chin as she thought. "How to explain... you know down by the waterfront, those bicycles with six seats in a circle, and everyone is pedaling together and they're all holding onto that ring in the middle to decide where to go? It's like that. My body is a democracy, and I have six women deciding in real-time how I move, how I think, what I say. They're in my core, sitting on my shoulders like my conscience, pushing me forward. I'm not really them, though, I'm the bicycle, the result of their thoughts and words multiplexed into a single girl. Thus..." She poses with a smile. "...Well, I should be a bit more clear. Five of us are working together. One isn't so thrilled, but she'll keep getting overruled until she starts to participate. So at the moment, I can't really say that I'm your fiancée... but I'm everything else that the other women want me to be! Best friend, past love, neighbor, admirer."

The woman stepped over toward you. With a smile, she lightly bumped your shoulder with her fist--one of Sam's signature moves with you--before she leaned in for a warm, comforting hug. You hesitated, before wrapping your arms around this mystery girl, and she sighed happily, before sitting down on the edge of the bed next to you.

You took a seat next to her. "This doesn't seem very fair to Jane. This is her body, and she doesn't even want to join in. Isn't that enough to convince you that this isn't who you should be?"

"I don't decide that," she said, looking down at her lap. "If the girls at the wheel decide to let go, then I disappear and Jane returns. Although, what I would want the most? Is if she were to join us, to participate, to no longer fight."

The woman took your hand in hers, rubbing your palm with her thumb. "And, this is a lot to ask, but... I think if you were to give me a chance, and you and I were to show Jane how perfectly we work together when all of us are in harmonious control... then she might join in, and I will be complete. I would like to be Jane in name, and I would like to be your fiancée. But it won't be until she joins in that I can be that."

She leans closer to you, briefly putting a kiss on your cheek. "I... well, I can be an entirely perfect woman for you, as I am now. I can show you affection as well as the greatest pleasures imaginable when I'm under the sheets with you..! But, I would so appreciate feeling complete, with Jane in the mix, so I can properly consider myself to be her as well as everyone else... but that is up to you. I'm asking you for a chance. A week, with me, like this. If you don't like me, or if Jane doesn't join in by the end of seven days, I'll 'disband' and disappear for good. But, I hope you will consider trying to help bring her into the mix, so you can enjoy the best of what I have to offer for you."

Jane was the only one you were committed to for marriage, but everyone else in this mix was making an unbelievably beautiful person, who talked and moved more like a woman you wanted to spend eternity with might. The question was, was that enough? And if it was for you, would that be enough for Jane?

What do you do about this combined girl?
