Granderson, 2 Right: She Breaks Windows

Danny had been living in his apartment for at least year before he ever saw anything in Granderson, 2 Right. For a long time, there were curtains drawn. They were old curtains, and they never moved. Danny assumed that whoever lived there either never went near the window or maybe never went into the room. One day, the curtains were gone, but the room was in darkness -- and it stayed like that for months. Danny figured the apartment was empty, maybe being renovated.

The first movement he ever saw in this apartment was rather dim. The lights weren't on, but he could see a figure walking around in the room. The figure wore red chucks, which looked fairly new.

The first time he saw anything more than some idle walking was in the summer, the night of July 3.
