It was past lunchtime and Grace was currently sitting in her own personal office at Smith Industries. Looking out through the tinted one-way windows of her personal office she could see most of the weekend staff staring at their computers or phones. She felt the tension in her shoulders relax with relief when she saw that most of the staff today were what Alex, the IT Manager, liked to call 'his normies.' It basically meant that most of the staff today were the _techies _or _gamers _doing some overtime compiling new codes, backing up servers or setting up new hardware, or fixing old ones while they slipped in a few downloads for their current game or something to hack their Roomba in the background. At least none of the 'weebs' or 'coomers' were in today, Alex's definition of the other group of nerds.

When she had started coming to the IT office way back when she was 13, Alex and her father had pointed out a few of them for Grace, letting her know into which group each one tended to fall into which one of his many shifting and evolving 'nerd categories.' He had warned her of some of the staff and it was generally known that Alex would often have 'The Talk' with new employees about Grace, making sure they stayed respectful and in line with their comments around her.

Most of the staff were rather young, just a few years older than Grace, and yet with the exception of a few older guys like Alex, they were mostly unattractive to Grace. She never understood why she found it easier to talk to the older guys. The younger guys in the office tended to stare at her and then quickly turn away when they noticed that Grace had seen them. Explaining that he was at a cabin with his friends and couldn't access his rig he said he needed "Keystroke's' help. He was giving her the access route he had used to hack into the Mall security, the timestamp at the food court, and photos of himself, his friends, Vicky, and her friends. He asked her to follow their steps that day in the Mall. He ended up by mentioning that Ravers would foot the bill.

This piqued her curiosity. She could kill all three requests and get paid at the same time. She wondered what was happening between Vicky and her friends and with Gavin and his friends. "What happened over there?" she asked out loud wondering why Vicky would ask her for information when she had them right there with her. Couldn't she just ask them?

Then she got the message from Ravers Enterprise requesting her to aid Gavin in all his endeavors, agreeing to pay the additional fee per her retainer contract. There was also an additional request for information regarding Logan. Shrugging she added it to her to-do list and just for the fun of it, she added it to the trace she was doing at the Mall.
